Today on the show we opened with the news that was broke earlier by our friend Chris Balas at thewolverine.com. Chris joined us to talk about everything that he’s heard come down the pipeline in the past few hours. Huge and Chris talked about the reasoning behind this weekend’s Wolverine football game against Maryland being cancelled. We then moved on to talk about our Detroit Lions with Logan Lamorandier. Logan gave us his thoughts on who he’s like to see as the next GM/Head Coach hire for the organization. He also gave his thoughts on if this could be the beginning of the end for Matthew Stafford.
In our second hour we were first joined by Graham Couch to get his thoughts on that great Spartan win over Duke last night. He and Huge discussed what they like so far from Izzo and his team, and where they’ve seen the most improvement. They then went on to talk about the likelihood of this weekend’s MSU/OSU match-up and whether they think it’ll go down or not. We were then joined by Anthony Bellino from X’s and Bro’s to talk more about the cancellation of this weekend’s U-M/Maryland game.
To kick of our final hour we were joined by Matt Shepard to talk some more about the Detroit Lions organization and who he believes would be the best fit to take over as GM and Head Coach. Matt and Huge talked about what they’re looking for in the candidates that could come forward to fill the positions. They also had a great conversation regarding the state of College Football and Basketball right now in our state. We then moved on to talk some more MSU football and basketball with our friend Matt Charboneau. Matt also gave us his thoughts on whether this weekend’s game against Ryan Day and OSU.
