Description
To open up the show today, Bill discussed the recent unrest across all of America these past few days. He spoke about how we need make massive changes to how we are working as a country when it comes to racial and social unrest. We were joined by Graham Couch in our first hour to discuss what he's seen around Lansing recently. He and Bill then went on discuss what' Mel Tucker has been up to, as well as Tom Izzo. The MSU AD said he believes sports will be back on campus this year but the fans in the stands could be lacking. Bill also asked the Huge Question of the Day: What are you top 5 sports icons out of our state?
In our second hour today, we were joined by Scoop Jackson out of Chicago to get his thoughts on what’s been going on across America from the perspective of a black man. What he had to say was really eye-opening and definitely needed to be said. He and Bill also discussed what the NBA is doing during these turbulent times. Jim Comparoni then joined us to talk more about sports being back on campus this year.
In our final hour we were joined by Big Bad Ben Wallace to catch up on what he’s been doing and how he’s been through all of this Covid pandemic. Ben and Bill also talked briefly about the civil unrest across America. They spoke about Ben possibly going into the Hall of Fame, if he watched “The Last Dance” Documentary, and so much more. Tim McCullough from the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort wrapped up the broadcast with us with some very exciting news regarding the opening up of Soaring Eagle.
