Bill opened up the show today with discussing the recent news regarding Bubba Wallace and what he found in his garage at the track over the weekend. In addition to this, he talked about the state of our Country right now and how sad it truly is that some people are still living in the past – but those people are heavily outweighed by good ones…We then moved on to talk about the University of Michigan announcing that school will be back in person once the semester starts back up…pending the containment of Covid. Chris Balas joined us in this hour to discuss what traveling could be like for their teams, how they’re dealing with positive Covid cases in some students, and much more! To kick off the second hour, Bill took us back in time to when he had the chance to drive a real racecar at Berlin Raceway about 10 years ago. We were then joined by PGA Rules Offical, Mark Wilson to talk about the latest PGA Tour stop, how the Tour is handling Covid/testing and much more. Then we got some news that the Owners/Players in the MLB are going to vote on the recent proposal today…We will know more next hour, but we were joined by Tony Ortiz to discuss the situation and how he thinks it could play out. Bill and Tony also discussed what happened with Bubba Wallace, and much more.
Right around the top of the hour, the players are voting on the recent proposal out of the owners of the MLB about a possible season. To get some more inside information, we were joined by Scott Miller to get his thoughts on what could happen over the next few hours/day. He gave is thoughts on Manfred’s proposal, what the players think, and where everything seemed to go wrong. To continue the conversation we were joined by Dan Hasty to get his thoughts on if there will be a season and what he thinks the players will do…Bill and Dan ended the show by discussing the impact that Covid is having on the MLB and the players’ decision.
