Neil Sahota is an IBM Master Inventor, United Nations (U.N.) Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) Advisor and Faculty at UC Irvine. With 20+ years of business experience, he works with clients and business partners to think disruptively and create next-generation products/solutions powered by emerging technology. He is also the author of Own the A.I. Revolution, a practical guide to leveraging A.I. for social good and business growth and was named Best Business Book of 2019 by Soundview. Neil’s work experience spans multiple industries, including health care, life sciences, retail, travel and transportation, energy and utilities, automotive, telecommunications, media/communication, and government. Before his current role, he was a thought leader, consultant, and practice leader in IBM Global Business Services, where he led the sales and delivery of consulting engagements in business strategy, new product development, revenue optimization, process improvement, and business/system integration. Neil has lived and worked in Ningbo, China, where he was involved in economic development projects, gaining extensive experience in assisting companies and entrepreneurs in defining their products, establishing their target markets, and structure their companies. He is a member of several investor groups and a director of various tech companies. Neil resides in California and spends a significant amount of time traveling the world to participate in business development and global expansion projects.
