The Baylor Bears joining the SEC is actually not that far-fetched. Granted, it sounds nuts. That’s objective. But Las Vegas betting site Bovada has Baylor at +500 odds to be the next team to join the league. That’s fourth-best of any school in the nation. 
On today’s episode of Locked On Baylor, Drake breaks down the possibility of the Bears really finding themselves in the new-look SEC with Texas and Oklahoma. While Clemson, Miami and Florida State were given better odds than Baylor by Bovada, there’s much to dissect with the university being placed before Virginia, North Carolina and other ACC powerhouses.
Another topic of contention is Baylor’s willingness to join the SEC if commissioner Greg Sankey calls. It’s a no-brainer. If the offer is extended, Baylor has no loyalty to the Big 12 or its member institutions. It’s time to do what’s best for the program and hit the road. The money and luster of the SEC is well worth it.
