Two phantom technical foul calls led to Jeb Hartness' ejection of Baylor coach Scott Drew, propelling a 20-0 run by the Cyclones which included a staggering 12 free throws in that span. Hartness' whistle needs to get him a Valentine's Day present after that performance, kissing the brass to the tune of 45 personal fouls in the 40 minute contest.

Baylor Athletic Director Mack Rhoades lambasted the officiating after the game, calling the trio of Hartness, Chance Moore and Christopher Merlo "an embarrassment to this league."
