Description

On episode 5 Colah B Tawkin takes us down memory lane with a tribute to collard greens and a shout out to the ancestors. We welcome some Alpha male energy with our first Botanical Brotha to guest on the show: Geoffrey from Depend on Planet Earth. It's the D.O.P.E. episode y'all! *airhorns* Geoffrey shared his inspirational origin story about losing his mother and gaining a renewed purpose that put him on the path to plantrepreneurship and community service. He literally switched from fast food to slow food; cause growing is a process that  should include a Chia Pet. We also chopped it up about keeping it real with the kids about shady produce origins to encourage the practice of organic gardening.  Geoffrey schooled us on how to save the pollinators by planting more flowers in our gardens from nature's sperm bank. We also salute our ancestors Tupac and Biggie with a reference to Pak choi and get some winter growing suggestions. In the end, we agree to disagree on one winter vegetable!
