Description

Episode 6 wraps up 2019 with a pod roll call saluting some great black podcasts that influenced Black in the Garden (listed below) and a quote from a contemporary negrolosopher to put it all into perspective.
We talk with Wes, founder of The Salt Lounge of Long Beach and learn how we all can benefit from a few visits to his soul spa IRL and the SoulWerk online Academy to get our chakras laid like fine baby hairs.
Wes discusses how he went from failed attempts at planting flowers to talking to plants as self care. He helps us prepare for the upcoming decade by sharing his tips for setting intentions with plants, how to 'program seeds'  to get our manifestation on and how to use plants to honor ancestors. Wes wants us to remember that we're ALLL energy healers in our everyday lives and that there is healing frequency in classic soul music!
