Description

After everything that 2020 has thrown at us, we've only gone and made it to Chapter 30 of The Corona Diaries.
To celebrate, Ant & I decided to abandon the traditional restrictions of the TCD regime (namely, cold stone sobriety and working to some sort of a plan) and go off-piste.
So with charged glasses, and a chanced upon article I wrote in December 1999 we bounded on, undaunted, into our first night-time recording session. I was to discover that in 1999 I had a mental age of 17. It hasn't progressed much since, to be honest...
Whatever you can say about TCD, there really is nothing 'quite' like it.
Thanks for getting us to 30, you crazy kids, it really is a thing of loveliness. Mildly sloshed loveliness on this occasion.
Stay purple, stay safe.

Lead singer of Marillion, father, hippy, punk, soul singer, progressive rockstar (wtf!), defender of the faith, voice of reason in a world gone crazy... ...and now podcaster. Join me as I talk about my life and what is rambling around in my head. Along the way I will focus on some of the stories that have shaped my career and my life, as well as reading from my diaries and offering my take on the wider world. Stay safe, h P.S I began this journey just as CoVid-19 took hold and changed our lives, possibly forever, so it seems apt to reference that in the naming of the podcast.
