Description

Where to begin...
You may recall in an earlier episode that I eluded to some high jinks with support band The Violet Hour on the HiE tour.
My recollection was of it all getting a bit rock’n’roll, with gaffa-taped guitarists, fingers in splints and blood on the carpet.
However, after discussing the matter with Doris (singer with TVH) it turns out some of that story was indeed the stuff of legend, so in this weeks pod I have set the record straight.
It did however provide Ant & I an opportunity to discuss touring, and the importance of live music to the financial well-being of all those involved. A timely segue...

Lead singer of Marillion, father, hippy, punk, soul singer, progressive rockstar (wtf!), defender of the faith, voice of reason in a world gone crazy... ...and now podcaster. Join me as I talk about my life and what is rambling around in my head. Along the way I will focus on some of the stories that have shaped my career and my life, as well as reading from my diaries and offering my take on the wider world. Stay safe, h P.S I began this journey just as CoVid-19 took hold and changed our lives, possibly forever, so it seems apt to reference that in the naming of the podcast.
