Description

In this episode of Beauty School, we are talking about one of the biggest skin complaints that we hear about, Hyperpigmentation.
First off, what the hell is hyperpigmentation? Wellllll, Hyperpigmentation is the deposition of melanin (pigment) due to the stimulation of melanogenesis. And Melanogenesis is the process by which pigment is produced and duplicated in the skin. It is the end result of the immune system triggering an inflammatory response, which then triggers melanocyte activity to protect the skin's DNA from damage and mutation.
Sound a little boring?? We do our best to make this a fun episode while teaching you how to treat this super common, and super annoying skin condition!
Plus, hear from Elizabeth's mama in our Hey Ladies! segment! Her mom, Chyrise tells us about the time Elizabeth's Dad picked up hitchhiker that turned out to be a murderer!
