Description

Thank you for joining us for another episode of the Low Carb MD Podcast. In this episode, your very own Dr. Tro Kalayjian sits down in the guest chair for an interview with Dr. Brian Lenzkes. Dr. Tro is a board certified Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine Physician. He has published research on a multitude of topics including Food Addiction, Binge Eating Disorder, and Severe Hypertriglyceridemia. He is the co-host of the very popular Low Carb MD Podcast (as you probably know!) and is a pioneer in the areas of Telehealth and Direct Primary Care. In their discussion, Drs. Brian and Tro talk about the evolution of their medical careers and patient care philosophies over the past several years, problems with the normative system of medical care, the importance and value of each individual choosing to do what they know is right in spite of the potential resulting hardship, the huge gap between having a scientific understanding of how weight loss works and being able to personally lose weight, and the beautiful blessing of growing and being a part of a supportive, loving community.
