Description
Today on The Empowering Neurologist I have the wonderful opportunity to interview Dr. Frank Lipman. His new book is called How to be Well: The 6 Keys to a Happy and Healthy Life, and in it he explores important areas of focus for healthy living, including eating, sleeping, moving, protecting, unwinding and connecting. Dr. Lipman has created a novel idea of incorporating these important concept into a mandala, which we will discuss. The book is really a pleasure to read. Dr. Lipman makes it very clear how important our food choices are, but is anything but overbearing in doing so. A main theme throughout the book is restoring our connection to our ancestral selves, not only in terms of our food choices but in addition in terms of our connection to darkness at night, as well as connection to other people, to the things we love, and, most importantly, to others. And those are just a few examples. Dr. Lipman practices in New York City and is a New York Times bestselling author. I’ve known him for many years and he is a kind, dedicated, and empathetic physician.
