Today I share a major topic Im teaching inside the Quietmind Yoga Teacher Training. At the core of yoga philosophy is Samkhya philosophy -- a lesser known and far less practiced philosophy that includes an understanding of creation based on 2 qualities: parusha and prakriti (something and nothing), similar to yin and yang, stirha and sukha and other pairs of opposites. From them comes the 3 gunas: sattva, rajas and tamas which I will share about today. Learning these three qualities completely changed my approach to life and practice. Everything can be understood through these three qualities, making it an essential part of yoga philosophy. Excited to share all about it with you on today's episode!.
