    In this episode I am speaking with Nick Combes. 
    Nick is a Level 3 World Rugby Accredited Coach. 
    In 2018 he established the Longhorns Rugby Academy where he is currently the Head Coach and Director.
    The Longhorns Rugby Academy, provides rugby services to clubs, schools, representative programs supporting coaches and players for ongoing development across Australia.
    Over the years he has also coached:
    2016-2020 – Bowral Rugby Club Coach
    2020 – Present u18s & u15s NSW GEN Blue Coach
    2016-2019 – u18s NSW ISA Schoolboys
    2009 – 2020 - Oxley College Bowral 1XV Head Coach
    2013 – 2017 – Illawarra Girls 7s
    2006 – Present – Bowral Rugby Junior Coach – Current Junior Club Coach Educator and Coordinator

    This Pod is about the journey we take as grassroots coaches. As most coaching pods speak with elite players and coaches, which is great. I want to talk to the coaches on the front line, the ones out there every weekend helping at the grassroots level. We will discuss the heartache, disappointment, enjoyment and euphoria we experience as coaches of the next generation of players. We will also discuss the lessons we learnt along the way, what we would do to fix the game at the grassroots level and how we see the game in the future. You never know we might just learn something along the way.
