Description

Happy Monday, Goons!  For today's episode of Wet Hot Slashers Summer, Jake and Mikey take a dive with Universal Pictures' Creature from the Black Lagoon! The film centers around a strange prehistoric beast that lurks in the depths of the Amazonian jungle. A group of scientists try to capture it and bring it back to civilization.  The film premiered on February 12, 1954, was directed by Jack Arnold, and stars Julie Adams, Richard Carlson, Richard Denning and Nestor Paiva. The film also inspired Guillermo Del Toro to create The Shape of Water!  So grab your snorkel and join us.
