Hope ya'll had a great holiday but December is not over yet here on our Slashing through the Snow month of Slashers Podcast.  This week, Jake, Doug, and Coker are left unsupervised to cover the early 2000's vampire horror flick 30 Days of Night.  The film stars, Josh Hartnett (The Faculty, Halloween H20, Penny Dreadful) , Melissa George (Amityville Horror remake, Turistas), Danny Huston (Anjelica Huston's brother, also starred in X-Men Origins: Wolvering, Succession, Yellowstone), Mark Boone Junior (Sons of Anarchy) and the ever-amazing Ben Foster (Alpha Dog, Hell or High Water, 3:10 to Yuma).  
We bet ya didn't know that the film is actually produced by Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, Drag Me to Hell, Spiderman 2002) and Robert Tapert (Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, The Grudge) and was released in 2007.  It seems to have gotten lost under all the splendor of other 2007 horror such as Dead Silence, 1408, Trick r Treat, but is compared to the nihilistic survival horror flicks such as The Hills Have Eyes remake, High Tension, The Mist, Feast and The Descent.  Find out what the guys loved about this one, as well as what they hated, with a special quick blurb from Ade who could not make it to recording. There are a lot of ooey, gooey, gross extras thrown in so you'll definitely wanna give this one a listen!
