Description

Thanks for joining me for another episode of One For The Road. This week I am joined by Clare Pooley.Clare spent nearly 20 years in the heady world of advertising where she worked hard and played harder. Then, when her third child was born, she quit to be a full-time mum and she wholly embraced the concept of ‘me time’ and ‘wine o’clock.’ By 2015, she knew the game was up, and she quit drinking. Her therapy was writing a blog called Mummy was a Secret Drinker. That blog became a memoir, The Sober Diaries. Clare now writes fiction. Her bestselling debut novel - The Authenticity Project - is published in 29 languages, and her second novel is out in May. If you enjoy One For The Road, then click follow to be notified of the release of our next episode. If you want to connect with me via Instagram, you can find me on the instahandle @Soberdave https://www.instagram.com/soberdave/or via my website https://davidwilsoncoaching.com/Provided below are links for services offering additional help and advice, and links for Clare.https://www.instagram.com/clare_pooley/https://twitter.com/cpooleywriterhttps://www.facebook.com/clare.pooley.58https://www.wearewithyou.org.uk/https://www.drinkaware.co.uk/advice/alcohol-support-serviceshttps://nacoa.org.uk/https://alcoholchange.org.uk/Show producer- Daniella Attanasio-Martinezhttps://www.grownuphustle.com/Instagram - @GrownupHustle` See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
