Description

Thanks for tuning in for this weeks episode of One For The Road, this week I am joined by the lovely Michelle Heaton.Michelle shot to fame in 2001 as a member of the globally successful pop band Liberty X and enjoyed many years of chart success. She later took time out to have a family and focus on fitness but in 2012, Michelle discovered she carried the BRCA breast cancer gene which led to her making the decision to have an elective double mastectomy and hysterectomy. In the years that followed, Michelle battled with drug and alcohol addiction and, for a long time, could not see a way out. She recently celebrated nine months of sobriety and wants to show anyone who might be struggling with addiction that there is hope.If you enjoy One For The Road, then click follow to be notified of the release of our next episode. If you want to connect with me via Instagram, you can find me on the instahandle @Soberdave https://www.instagram.com/soberdave/or via my website https://davidwilsoncoaching.com/Provided below are links for services offering additional help and advice, and links for Michelle.https://www.instagram.com/wonderwomanshel/https://www.wearewithyou.org.uk/https://www.drinkaware.co.uk/advice/alcohol-support-serviceshttps://nacoa.org.uk/https://alcoholchange.org.uk/Show producer- Daniella Attanasio-Martinezhttps://www.grownuphustle.com/Instagram - @GrownupHustle See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
