Description

As part of my Accelerator coaching program, we offer weekly audits where members can submit whatever they'd like for me to review.

I then record a personalized Loom video with my critique, ideas and feedback.

This year especially, I’ve been getting a lot of requests to review landing pages -- opt-in pages, sales pages and the like.

And the more and more I’ve reviewed, the more and more I’ve noticed a simple tweak that can have a big effect on increasing conversions -- the color of the call-to-action (CTA) buttons.

You see, 99% of the pages I’ve been looking at from our members had CTA buttons that blended into the rest of the content and the other colors on the page.

I know in the grand scheme of things, the color of the call-to-action buttons on your landing page should be far down the list of what to test…

But what’s certain is that button colors that blend in aren't going to make it easier for anyone to take the action you want them to take.

So after seeing so many opportunities for improvement, I started asking myself…

What IS the best color for your CTA buttons?

I decided to do some research to see if there was any science behind the psychology of color and the feelings people have when they see certain ones.

And my findings were super interesting…

I had no idea different colors “spoke” to people in different ways.

Even with my years of experience, I still learn new aspects to improve on everyday. Like, something as simple as colors hardly crossed my mind a few years back.

And to be honest, I’ve never thought much of what color I “should” use for the buttons on my landing pages other than they need to stand out and “pop” from the rest of the colors and content on the page.

But after my research, and seeing so many landing pages over the years, I now have some new best practices…

And I’m sharing them all with you today, on the podcast.
