We have to have the motivation to learn how to learn new things, the motivation to speak up at work and the motivation to experiment. It is such an important skill that the CEO at AT&T told his employees that if they don’t have the motivation to take matters into their own hands--to learn how to learn and to be responsible for their own professional development--then they don’t belong at the company.
