WATER ELEMENT TRIPLICITY

The element Water represents the liquid state of plasticity, of relaxation of matter, entirely of receptivity and passivity, which adapts according to the impressions received. This is the basic element, the original vital medium, the primordial mass, fertilized by the riches it assimilates, creative if animated by the action of heat. It softens, mixes, imbibes, assimilates, fills, dissolves, internalizes, gathers into a single mass. It is malleable, unstable, it is in a continuous mobility that trembles and its submission is impressionable.

The quality of wetness shows the plastic effect, variable, lacking its own shape, which adapts to any container where it is poured. It is the quality of cold, the cause of the internal resistance, producing an intimate cohesion of its parts, in the close union of its particles.

Organically, it is the vital medium where the birth of the germ, the female seed, lymph, secretions and mucous membranes takes place. It is hyper tendency to aqueous and albuminous elements, hyper secretion of all glands, excessive formation of phlegm and serum, delay in metabolic processes.

Physiologically it corresponds to the lymphatic temperament, characterized by the predominance of the digestive appearance and the nutritional function, ensured by lymph or blood plasma. The dominant regime is that of the vegetative state, of rest, of inertia, of sleep, of reflex movements.

Resistance to understanding, a specific characteristic of the Water element, manifests itself as a reaction that in the organic-physiological domain is produced through the nerves, and that in the psychic-mental domain causes the impression of an active will.

The morphology is dilated and atonic.
