    Where is this Love of Yours?

    Sheep may safely graze.

    Our Fleeting Moment in Time and Space

    Alone on this moonlit night

    A Charred and Blackened heart

    ––––––––

    Silence returned

    A Flower.

    Delicate and beautiful.

    ––––––––

    I am a flower. 

    Delicate and beautiful. 

    You picked me out of a field amongst many. 

    You gaze and stare. 

    A pensive glance. 

    Pupils with apparent dilation. 

    I did not know you received so much elation from viewing my petals. 

    Such an allure to your eyes. 

    Am I such a sultry visual?

    A sight so unusual.

    Your motives.

    Different from what I thought. 

    Plucking off all my petals. 

    He loves me. 

    He loves me not.  

    He loves me. 

    He loves me not. 

    He loves me.  

    Removing them one by one.

    As you, repeat your mantra.

    Using me to know someone else’s affection for you.

    Thrown down to the ground after I proved my worth to you.  

    Back on the field from where I belong.  

    Plucked. 

    Stem remaining.  

    Left bare. 

    A beautiful and delicate flower no more. 

    The Willow Tree Weeps.

    The willow tree weeps.

    I follow its example.

    Weeping alongside with a downtrodden posture.

    Time to time, letting out a bellow of agony.
