Oops ... It's Happened Again!

About this ebook
An experience she thought she would only encounter once, never did AngieD imagine that over twenty years later she would still be writing poetry. She never thought life would continue to provide subjects which would cause her to write, comment, whine and laugh about, and never did she think poetry would see the light of day, emerging from her writing books and store cupboards and into print!
The scenery is still beautiful, we are still fortunate to live in a lovely country, and people (some) still remain selfish, greedy or kind! So, yes, this girl still living not as far north as Coventry, but still a little further north than Watford, is thankful for any reason to produce a verse or two, or three, or four!
When AngieD ceases to make mistakes (and that ain't gonna happen!), when our land has nothing but good folk in residence (can't see that in the foreseeable!) and when our countryside is no longer picturesque (not likely!) then her writing will be all over (or will it?). Until then, it's "business as usual as AngieD tries to see the humour in everything!
AngieD hopes Book Three will make the reader smile as much as Books One and Two gone before!

A white background with black and white clouds Description automatically generatedThanks again to God, as always, for giving us, by whatever name, that which keeps active the smiling cells in our brain.
Thanks to the late Mrs Thompson for her mentoring, I shall always be eternally grateful for the attention you showed all your students. I’m also grateful to four guys in my working life for their faith in my abilities in the office, to PLW and GC, to CJUC and to the late JJ-C, I appreciate you all; the trust you all had in me will never be forgotten. You don’t know how grateful I am – thank you!

And so I move onto Book Three and, yes, life is such that stuff just keeps happening and filtering through, so, what other exit than to keep writing.....
Whilst I hope my errors will be fewer as life progresses, if that is the case, then my writing days may be over sooner than I would like. However, thankfully, this does not seem set to happen in the very near future, and so I hope the following pages will add a few more smiles to a world overshadowed with gloom!
Enjoy!

NO END TO THE OOPS!
MUDDLE BACK!
When last did you see
The back of your hair?
Are you even sure
It’s not just a bald patch around there?
I look in the mirror
And the front looks okay
So I genuinely imagine the back
Wouldn’t be in a bad way
So I twist around to see
What’s going on
And on closer inspection all’s revealed
Well, I got that totally wrong!
Combed, but looking like a bird’s nest
The middle feeling rather tender
Ruffled on
