About this ebook

This book of poems is about the ups and downs of life, the deep valleys that we find ourselves in sometimes. The high mountains that we must climb, the highs and lows of human experiences, and the ins and outs of bad situations. It is about what humanity goes through daily—the big, beautiful, and wondrous world of nature, all that is in it, and all that it has to offer. Nature’s God and how He uses nature to teach us some very valuable and important lessons. It talks about the sky, the constellations, the galaxies, the sun, the moon, the stars, Orion, and the Milky Way. From the cradle to the grave, we are bombarded with difficulties and trials.

    Praise

    All majesty, dominion, and praise

    To Thee, Almighty King

In You, I live and move,

    And have my earthly being.

    All honor, praise, and glory

    Be unto Your Holy Name.

    We worship and adore You

And love You just the same.

A Name above all other names,

A Name that makes me clean,

A Name on which I can depend,

To save my soul from sin.

    Daily Fight

Every single day, it’s a bitter fight.

He fights with all his might

To get me on the path to hell

So, I won’t have a story to tell.

But in hell, no pleasure I’ll find.

So, to myself, I must be kind.

    He Had to Die

He had to die so that I might live

    With Him in Heaven above.

It’s not me that lives but Him in me.

    Just magnifying His love.

He took my shame that I

    May share in His glory.

He took my cross that I

    May tell a redemption story.

    He carried my heavy cross,

So that I would not be lost.

I look forward to His coming,

In the clouds of glory at last.

    Fly Away

One day I will fly away like an angel,

Far beyond the skies so blue.

There to meet the lovely Jesus,

I know He wants to meet me too.

As citizens of that Holy Land,

We will join the angel’s band.

We will sing songs of adoration and praise.

Our sweet voices we will raise.

We’ll sing with the heavenly chorus,

    With the sweet angelic host.

Sing the song of Moses and the Lamb

    And live with Christ forevermore.

    Evolution versus Creation

There is a strong tendency toward evolution,

But this modern thought disputes God’s creation.

Man cannot think like an all-powerful God.

He says, "My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Neither are your ways My ways."

They cannot control themselves or their constituents,

    Never mind the entire universe.

Many seem to think that they can evolve

Into anything outside of their natural kind.
