Mark kills the engine and idles, surrounded by the school of dolphins while the sun is setting, shining golden rays of light glistening on the sea. Mark pets a dolphin's head who swims up to him next to the jet ski and Kristin strokes the back of another one next to her in divine peace, thankful for the distraction from completely commiting herself to Mark. The inside of the restaurant is filled with colorful foliage, hand painted azure colored tile murals on the walls of the Sea of Cortez, elaborate black wrought iron dimly lit candelabras hanging from the ceiling and azure blue colored velvet booths dressed against Spanish style cedar tables set against the windows facing the ocean view.

A young brunette wearing a black uniform and her hair up in bun showing off the dozens of colorful tattoos on her neck and shoulders with tons of facial peircings smiles at the couple, obviously recognizing them from the press and says Hi Mr. Smith! Welcome to La Paz. My name is Eliza. Kristin laughs and says Mark darling, rum will probably make me drunk. I never drink hard liquor. You might have to carry me to the car. She serves him a plate of blue corn chips and a small serving for herself. She uses a fork and breaks up a chip, dips it in the pico de gallo and slides the fork in her mouth. She laughs Ah. Mark. Ohhh. Spicy. Wew, takes another bite dipping the tortilla in sour cream and guacamole giving her fuck you TV smile to the patrons of the restaurant rudely staring at her and Mark.

My lady will have the house salad with avocado ranch dressing to start and the red corn tortilla cheese enchiladas with Spanish rice, sauteed vegetables and a side of pineapple mango salsa. I will have the chicken tortilla soup to start and the carne asada burrito special served wet with red sauce, the jalapenos on the side and sauteed vegetables instead of refried beans. Thank you Jose and hands him the menus.

Mark eats another blue corn chip dipping it in the tomatillo sauce, picks up his raspberry daquirie and says Here is to co-habitating, co-creating, wild passionate sex and our upcoming wedding my beautiful, exquisite, love of my life. Mark chuckles and says That is very good doll and drinks half of his daquirie in one gulp and pushes the jalapenos on the other side of his plate.

Kristin starts cracking up, lays her head on Mark's shoulder and whispers in his ear You have gotten too used to the taste of champagne and our five star luncheons with Poindexter darling and rubs his thigh. Mark looks at Kristin, smiles affectionately at her and kisses her. He says Just think of all of the gourmet meals you are going to cook for us. Kristin takes another sip of her drink, eyes the floor, noticing that almost every person in the restaurant is staring at her and Mark. She glances at the bar and notices Jeff Brown, a WSET news anchor is watching her and Mark. Would you like coffee sir?. Mark looks at Kristin and says My lady and I will share the lemon parfait and no coffee. Thank you Jose.

Jose serves the couple dessert and leaves a leather billfold with the check on the table. Jose appears at the table and picks up the leather billfold with Mark's credit card and says Thank you for joining us at La Paz this evening. It was my pleasure serving you. Please visit us again. Mark replies Thank you Jose and finishes his daquiri. Kristin takes another sip and says Mark, I am getting tipsy. Thank you so much for taking me out to dinner. I love you sweetheart and kisses him.
