Lost in the bush For Two Nights!

Stranded in the middle of nowhere, Michelle put some Post-it notes to very good use

Hopping into the car with my daughter, Nikita, 37, I pulled out of our driveway.

It was June 23, 2023, and we were heading to Seven Mile Diggings – an abandoned gold mine and fossicking area.

I’d celebrated my 54th birthday the day before and, continuing the celebrations, Nikita and I were off on a motherdaughter day trek.

The area is just 15 minutes from my home in Nanango, 190 kilometres north-west of Brisbane.
