verybody knows about Isaac Newton sitting under an apple tree and discovering the laws of gravity. I don’t know if this is true, but someone told me that a relative of his with the same last name acquired his fitting nickname by sitting under a fig tree and having a fig fall on him and him finding its fruit very delicious.

Most people know about the bicycle race known as The Tour de France which is held in France as you might suspect. Little known fact is that there are a couple of tailors that follow the riders around the course to repair any ripped uniforms. The tailors call their group Tore de Pants!
