1.  Strange Housemates

Believe me when I say I have had some strange ones

They want everything their own way

Not their place, I was here first

But they do tend to take over

Have more rights, they think

My personal items moved

Hidden away, out of sight

Their photos, ornaments

Taking over the mantelpiece

Lounge room mat, rolled up

Into the garage it went

Permission not sought

No chance to give it

Not asked

Told how to hang laundry

Yelling out the window

On a Sunday morn

Must do it their way, section by section

Not round and round

It is my laundry

No one else is using
