About this ebook

As the bastard daughter of the head of a mafia family, my orders are clear. Kill the son of our enemy. He isn't much younger than me, but if I don't do it, I'm dead.

When his uncle Dante interrupts before I can muster the courage to go through with it, I know my life is over. There's no way he'll let me walk out of this club alive.

Dante Amici.

He's ruthless. He's old enough to be my father.
He's also the man I've been fantasizing about for years.

    Claimed - Cherry White

    Chapter One

I’m supposed to kill him. The man currently groping my breast. Though calling him a man is stretching it. He isn’t much younger than me. Maybe still in high school. I graduated a couple of months ago.

He’s the son of the head of the Amici crime family. Mafia. They’re dangerous. Deadly. And the enemy of my family, the Baldacci’s.

Though I’m barely acknowledged by the Baldacci’s. Even though my father is the patriarch. I’m not his legally recognized daughter. Twenty years ago my married father started fucking his assistant—my mom. And I was the result. Though you won’t see his name on my birth certificate.

So here I am. Proving my loyalty. Proving I’m worthy. Getting close to Davide Amici by any means necessary—as my dad encouraged.

If your pussy is as good as your mom’s was, you won’t have any trouble getting close to the boy.

You’re so fucking hot. Davide groans, pinching my nipple. How are these tits even real?

The thought of killing someone makes me sick to my stomach, almost as sick as this guy touching me, but I have to do this. My life is on the line here.

When he buries his face against my neck to suck, I close my eyes and slide my hand down my leg and hike my dress upward. My fingers curl around the handle of the knife strapped to my thigh.

    You can do this.

My grip on the knife tightens and a prickle of unease hits. It’s a new feeling though, not caused by my doubt this time. It’s intuition.

I snap open my eyes and my gaze lands beyond Davide. The pair of dark eyes watching me across the room aren’t those of a teenager. There’s nothing boyish about the tall, broad-shouldered man in black trousers and a white button-up shirt who’s lounging against the door of the backroom in the club.

Dante Amici. One of the head honchos in the Amici crime family. Davide’s uncle. My family refers to him as The Beast because he’s so big and has a significant scar near his eye.

My entire body goes numb as I drop the handle of the knife, letting my dress flutter back down and cover my naked thighs.

But his grim smile tells me he already saw it. His gaze that he sweeps over me is predatory. I’m the prey.

And that’s when it really sinks in.

Instead of Davide getting hauled out of here in a body bag, it’s probably going to be me.

Davide. His nephew’s name is sharp on Dante’s lips.

Davide drops me in an instant, stumbling back in surprise.

Uncle D. What are you doing here?

This is when it will happen. He’ll tell Davide I’m an assassin and then….

God, I don’t even want to imagine what will happen next.

I just pray that however he kills me, it will be quick. But that’s just it about the mafia. Quick isn’t usually their thing.

My stomach heaves and I want to throw up.

Get out of here, boy, Dante says in a low raspy voice. His gaze doesn’t stray from me though. She’s mine.

Davide’s mouth opens and closes in dismay as he looks from me to his uncle. He’s like a little puppy torn between a treat and his owner.

Then he nods. Okay, Uncle D. I’m so sorry. I didn’t realize Jessica belonged  to you.

He’s weak and knows who the alpha is. He scampers off back into the club, closing the door on the way out. The lock in the door clicks and now we’re alone together.

You say your name is Jessica? Nice try. Dante steps closer. How about you tell me your real name?

Even though I’m in the shadows of my family, like hell will I give him my real name before I die. I won’t lead a trail back to them.

    Emily.

He takes another step and rolls up the sleeves of his white shirt. His forearms, tanned and muscled, are smattered with dark hair.

    Nope. That’s not it.

He’s old enough to be my
