Foreword
This study originates from the fact that many uninspired human beings have rendered the name of Jesus Christ too spiritual and mysterious. In fact, Jesus Christ, the loving and caring son of God has been pushed to the spiritual position in peoples’ minds, so much so that some people, including my ninety-five year old father thinks that Jerusalem is in heaven. Other people even think that Jesus Christ was a black man, some doubt if a man like Jesus Christ truly ever existed on this earth. These diversified mysterious thoughts on Jesus Christ are caused by the fact that fanaticism
has brainwashed wisdom
in our minds.
Jesus Christ came to this world in the form of a human being; he grew up, did his job, and went back to his father. Early Christians spread the loving and caring deeds of Christ to the whole world through the efforts of missionaries, explorers, martyrs and great rulers. A sincere modern Christian nowadays in the twenty-first century should spread the words of Jesus Christ in the whole mind not more on the whole earth. Your mind now must be captured by the lifestyle of Christ to a point that there should be no portion of it left for any doubt about Jesus Christ. Nobody should be seen now, still begging you to read your Bible or say your prayers, because this Holy Book and prayers making are known to mankind for centuries. The loving nature of Jesus Christ should by now be extended to other God’s creatures such as domestic animals and not again to wise and right thinking human beings. In fact, very soon, animals will not be killed not to talk of still killing human beings. These are signs that wisdom is failing in our society. Wisdom reminds us, the civilized men, that, technology, the human race and so on is constantly advancing. Our knowledge and faith about Christ or about our dear salvation should not be stagnant. They must be advancing too, because Christ and our salvation are the final goals after vanity, which is life, and so must be constantly improved upon. For your mind to become colonized by Jesus’s loving and caring deeds, wisdom
must accompany faith
.
Faith alone does not suffice. It does not suffice because faith alone instead brainwashes a human mind about Jesus Christ and there is no room for thinking and once thinking stops, stagnation arrives or set in and the worship of Jesus Christ become more of a ritual, rather than a journey which has to be improved on minutes’ basis to get close, closer and the closest to Jesus, because mankind shall never be Jesus Christ. In fact, Mankind is only Jesus’s image on earth and so knowing Christ is an endless journey which has to be improved every second of our lives till the day we shall leave this world.
In a situation where faith
alone prevails without a bit of wisdom
in knowing Jesus, everything about Jesus Christ is mysterious and at times very dangerous. For example, with excessive faith alone and no wisdom a couple thought that their endless prayers and fasting without a tablet or medication could cure their sick daughter, but she died. Excessive faith alone without wisdom, has also made mankind to forget that Christ took the human flesh before coming into this world, which means every human being is Jesus’s image on earth, because that is the only form that Christ selected and used while on earth, and must be loved until when that human flesh turns into a spirit or when it will die from this earth. In fact, a simple love or happiness you can give to any mankind you meet is richer than the jealousies, the abuses, the killings or the preventions of other people from succeeding or growing as you have been doing but praying and preaching in temples, churches, synagogues on daily basis brainwashed by faith in a spiritual Jesus. Let simple wisdom not an exaggerated brainwashed faith reminds you that God is your conscience and knows that you are committing a sin or pretending. The excessive mysterious nature of Jesus Christ in our minds also bars the way for mankind to appreciate what another human being had done to promote the existence of Christ on earth. These people driven by excessive faith without wisdom think that God, and not inspired men on earth, made what we might be practicing or doing in order to understand him better. For example, many people in general and Christians in particular do not know or cannot imagine that the concept of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Holy Trinity) was raised by a wise Reverend Father to facilitate the understanding of Jesus Christ’s position in our minds. With excessive faith and no wisdom, Christians cannot imagine that it is a man who proposed that the counting of years on earth should be done before or after Christ to make his importance felt on earth, and in our minds. With excessive faith and no wisdom, some Christians cannot imagine that it was a man called Paul who sole handedly changed Jesus’ preaching from a Jewish religion (Judaism) to a religion for every human being on earth (Christianity). With excessive faith and no wisdom, some Christians cannot imagine that it was a king who ordered that the day Sunday should be set aside for the worship of God in his empire to promote Jesus’ presence in his people’s minds and on earth and later the whole world embraced it. Those Christians who can have a good knowledge of these people, who actually helped to spread the existence of Jesus’s words or presence on earth plus faith in Jesus will appreciate, enjoy, support, admire, adore, be encouraged and feel Jesus’s presence in their system. Wisdom will inform these Christians that like the above human beings who have contributed to promote Christ’s existence in our minds, they too must think of what they can do in order to promote God’s existence among people on this earth, (see Pa Kum’s photo below) because the earth needs constant improvement in its relationship with God, not only stagnated brainwashed faith. In short, wisdom (knowledge) about Jesus Christ should accompany faith in the twenty-first century. How then can this happen?
History textbooks in primary schools tell us that the Greek civilization occurred before the Roman civilization. A very serious primary school pupil knows that Julius Caesar was the greatest ruler of the Roman civilization. Also, every serious human being on earth knows that Jesus Christ once said Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God
(see Matthew 2:4). From these talks above, common wisdom or knowledge will inform us that Jesus Christ was born during the Roman civilization, that existed after the Greek civilization and that Caesar was the ruler of Rome during that period, and that was the reason Jesus Christ mentioned Caesar’s name in the Bible.
Wisdom at this level makes us know that before Jesus Christ was born some great people and even people in general had existed on earth for many years. For example, in the period of the Greek civilization that came before the Roman civilization, the following great men lived: Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Alexander the Great, Homer and Hippocrates, and during the Roman civilization, General Manius, Cato, Julius Caesar and Augustus Caesar lived. All these great men quoted above, existed so many years before Christ was born. Take for example, Socrates was born in 470 B.C. (see Holt et al, 1999).
Wisdom or knowledge not faith alone will tell us that the act of writing existed long before Christ was born. Take for example, Plato and his school during the Greek civilization. Speeches, thoughts and poems written by Socrates, Aristotle, Homer and Cato
