    Dedication

To Sri Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy Gaaru,

A true visionary leader, who possessed a profound understanding of the challenges faced by the underprivileged.

    Preface

I have written some stories based on incidents from my childhood, as a foundation to address children's issues. Subsequently, I penned a short novel about children's rights. Following this, I contributed some criticism essays to Telugu children's literature.

During this process, I also read many children's stories. Among them, a few stories resonate strongly with me. I felt a deep connection with these stories, and I believed they needed a global audience. This led to my aspiration of introducing Telugu children's literature to the national and international arena.

After reading the stories, Mr. R. Daivadattam kindly provided proofreading assistance. Upon my request, he not only proofread the stories but also offered valuable suggestions. Consequently, the stories were improved. Later, my wife, Nagma Fatima, took on the role of an editor for these stories. This book, along with my effort, stands parallel to her dedication.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. R. Daivadattam and Mrs. Nagma Fatima. I express my gratitude to all the authors who appreciated and accepted the translated stories. I thank everyone, individually, for their collaboration in the publication of this book. It's your efforts that make the book complete.

I humbly urge authors/translators from other languages who read this book to consider translating the stories into their respective languages, if they feel inspired. I am wholeheartedly looking forward to seeing these stories being translated and shared in various languages.
