RETHINKING EDUCATION
Never confuse education
with intelligence, you
can have a Ph.D. and Still
be an idiot.
-Richard Feynman
The word education is derived from the Latin word 'Educare'. It means bringing out and bringing the talent out from the students. Though we learn a good education and get knowledge, something let us reshape the education once. All of us are obeying an education system. Is this a proper education? Is education measured by knowledge? Are we all choosing a perfect job through education? Is the education system giving the right opportunities to the students at the right time?
Education is now the amount of information that is put in the human brain. It must have man making, character making and life building accumulation of ideas. The only means of that education is something that can be gained in the world. Most probably students are totally ignorant about
. In this time, When I wrote this article, this explanation came to my mind about education. Which is heard in recent times by a person who talking on social media randomly.
Current Condition:
First of all, the Government must give some extra source to the people in the education field. If a student creates a scientific gadget or instrument as innovative, the government does not recognize the student. Thus, The innovation is going to the company. A brilliant student creates a solar seeder or water filter with their wisdom. The Government has not given any response to the student. This is what the current condition of our education. Then how to the student become an achiever? The government should just focus on the students for the growth of our country.
A Government has to recognize this talent, because students go to an unrelated job to their degrees and studies.
The talent is utilized by other business companies. When a student creates an innovation, the corporate buys their creativity and formula from them. Finally, the companies become rich and the students become ditch. The result is wisdom and creativity have been sold by other companies with no use to actually who created it.
Education should be everywhere and every profession. Generally, every human wants that they have to earn from their own profession. But teachers are the ones who teach students how to get job opportunities in corporate and government. They don't teach them how to use their self to grow economically and socially. Especially some students want their own businesses, some students want agriculture. All people say that agriculture is the eyes of our country, but how many people looking agriculture as a profession? They don't really value it as a career or a job, except for words. If a person becomes a teacher, engineer, lawyer, police, scientist, or government officer, Society treats them at a high level. Otherwise, other professions are considered as low value work. It is wrong.
Government schools should teach English with proper grammar rules. English is a single language in government schools. Then how to the student communicate with other country people?
Terrible News:
Newspapers that are supposed to talk about students' talent and achievement, report on student violence, the effects of period disorder, and the beatings of schools and colleges. The photos of the student who was arrested for caste-related activities are placed where the photos of the accomplished student should be.
Perfect Education:
Perfect education is technical knowledge with practical otherwise knowledge should never depend upon the marks. Even it is not perfect education as well. Teachers should treat all students as equal. If a student gets less marks or fails but he/she is interested in other skills. They should give some advice to score marks and motivate in other skills as well. In the internet world, less people read books. Whatever E-sources students use, books only help them to become intelligent and promote more ideas to students. English is a world language. Hence students in the future, they will have to compete at the world level. Government schools should teach English with grammar rules for fluent communication.
Awareness:
People needs some awareness towards knowledge that what is knowledge. Parents should feed practical knowledge to their children. Now a days, Schools implement a process plan for the kids for their practicals like collecting pictures, building a craft, stock photos, and vectors. But the project was done by their parents. Who do needs the practical knowledge student or parent?
However, someone says Knowledge does not depend upon marks
. People still celebrate high mark students. Then what about the creative student? If a kid takes first grade, the kid is good. If a student takes 100 out of 100, he/she is great.
Mother tongue is the
