    Immoral Retribution - Emery LeeAnn

    Chapter 1

Shanna let out a string of curse words as Matt yanked her down under the counter for shelter. The shattering of the windows from the shop was still reverberating in her ears from the explosion. Her instincts told her to grab a gun and run after the assholes who blew part of her building up, but thankfully her employee had the better sense to get her to safety.

Fucking bastards know this is a war free zone. Heads are going to roll.

Grumbling, she shook herself loose from the mammoth who was trying to hold onto her. Taking her phone out, she sent a mass text to her silent partners. This would be the first time she had needed to involve them in anything, and it fucking pissed her off. Satisfied from the silence, assuming there were no more bombs, she peeked over the counter.

The merchandise part of the custom Harley shop now had a huge gaping hole. Her first thought was, I just hung all that shit up. Shaking herself out of her reverie, she realized that didn’t mean dick right now. She reached a hand out to Matt to help him up from his crouched position.

    Holy shit, boss.

Yeah, Shanna grunted, My thoughts exactly.

She heard bikes in the distance and knew the calvary was on its way. Nodding her head at him to give him the go ahead to search quickly outside before the cops showed up at the scene, she walked over to the rubble that was her shop.

Seconds later, he walked back in with a grim look but didn’t have time to say anything because of the sirens that drowned out every other sound. She steeled herself for the onslaught that was coming. Sighing heavily, she walked out to meet everyone.

Her shop was directly in the middle of four rival MC's: to the left she had Los Bria, to the right were the Templar Saints. A few blocks to the front were the Bastards of Asphalt MC and some streets to the back of her shop, were the Dragons. She had strategically bought the property for its location, gathering the Presidents of all four clubs to become partners with her to keep the shop war free, and a safe place for everyone to come to get their bikes worked on.

She owned 60% of the Harley custom shop while each club owned a respective 10% a piece. It was a win-win for everyone, as it gave the clubs a legitimate source of income.

With her fists balled at her side, she started answering the interrogation by the detective that came out to assess the bombing. Everyone had to stay out of the building while the bomb squad checked over to ensure there was no longer a threat.

Shanna thought she was going to vomit all over this man's shoes. The adrenaline was leaving her body and despair was starting to crash down on her. Shanna’s mind was racing a million thoughts per second, but the prominent one was that someone had the balls to bomb her baby. She built this shop from the ground up, literally. She stood right there alongside with the men laying the bricks as her dream was built up into the shop she always envisioned. She was no princess, but Shanna’s Rides was her fairytale castle and some fucking asshole tried to blow it to pieces, and her right along with it.

The investigator looked nervous at all the leather clad men walking his way. She grimaced at his expression of disgust. That was all she needed; someone who was prejudiced against bikers.

Calm down Smokey, she muttered to him, they all own a piece of this shop.

She walked away from him as he used his walkie talkie to call for backup. For the first time in over a decade, she walked straight into her dad's arms and let him take over.

True rolled over to grab his phone. Trying very unsuccessfully to not wake Chase up, he looked at the screen, wiping his eyes and reading it twice. A bomb? What the hell? Shanna in trouble?

Chase tried to grab his naked form as True climbed over him, but he didn't have time to play.

Sorry babe. There is an emergency. He pecked him on the cheek and told him he would see him as soon as he could. He heard Chase mutter his disappointment. He would make it up to him, but for now, duty called.

Shanna was the only thing on his mind. The bike shop was bombed, and she lived there, so it made sense she might have been injured. He needed to get dressed and get his ass over there to check up on her.

Chase, of course, picked up on his distress.

What is going on? You seem more worried than normal.

It was the bike shop. True shrugged.

Chase’s eyes grew big. That was a no trouble zone. It was an unwritten rule, but everyone knew it. Who would be that stupid to do that? It would cause four clubs to come down on you.

True was trying to be patient with him and answer his questions but his patience was wearing thin. That’s what we are trying to figure out babe. He bent over, kissing
