About The Author
Dedication
This is a two-part dedication for me!
First, I want to dedicate this to my partner in crime on the book – L. X. Deveraux. Thank you so much for letting me pop your publishing cherry. I had a lot of fun writing all the dirty parts with you. Lol. You are a kickass writer, and an even better friend.
Now the big dedication! This book was solely written with my PA, Anibet Castro-Mangual in mind. Ani is absolutely the most phenomenal person I could ever wish to have in my corner. She keeps me on my toes, while being my consummate cheerleader the entire time. Fucking love you to death woman!
Prologue
Devon’s head pounded. Whoever took him either had a death wish or had balls as big as New York to kidnap a president. Raising his head, he couldn’t see much. They had beaten him, eyes swollen from it. What little he could see, Devon noticed he was in a dark room with stone floors. He assumed he was probably in a basement. It smelled like mildew, and he could hear water dripping somewhere.
He thought he had been down there for at least a week, maybe more. Trying to escape was useless, they had broken both his legs, his eyes were almost swollen shut and he had been starved. He would personally kill them with his bare hands if he ever found out who was behind this. Right now though, he just needed to stay alive until his club found him.
Chapter 1
A skull with text on it Description automatically generatedThere was a tension in the air that was being felt by everyone in the Club. Still no sign of the Pres, the brothers were antsy, desperately looking for a way of releasing their anxiety, their angst. Even though everyone had continued with their usual tasks, there was a gloominess noticeable in all their faces.
Dom had spent most of his time with Hauser, searching for clues, following leads. The team of two were the best hunters the Dragons had. After looking day and night for Devon, it had been in vain. Three days had passed, and they hadn’t been able to find anything. The men were frustrated and disheartened.
Just like his brothers, Dom needed to release some steam and let go of some of the restlessness. His way of doing it involved having a woman tied up to a whipping bench, however, he didn’t have the time for it at the moment. He knew not every woman was receptive to what he had to offer, but he was also aware he was well endowed, and the crow eaters wanted some of that too. Brandi, specifically, loved to feel the kind of pain he gave.
Brandi sent a sultry smile his way as he beckoned her to his room. She dropped the straps of the spaghetti-strap dress she had on off her shoulders, and let it hit the floor. Not surprising, she had nothing on underneath.
She sashayed her way past Dom, caressing his chest as she walked by. As she climbed onto his bed, he yanked her back onto her feet, pushing her over so she was bent face down, ass up, over the bed. Did I give you permission to move?
He growled.
No, Sir,
she replied huskily, her body responding in anticipation to what she knew was coming.
Good girl.
He slapped her hard on the ass. She yelped until he rubbed her cheeks, then he spanked her hard again, several times on each cheek giving them a nice rosy glow. She was moaning as she wriggled her butt trying to get more from him. It wasn’t her first rodeo with Dominic; she knew better than to hurry him.
He loved the pink glow of her skin, even more knowing he was the one that made it happen. He slid his hand in between her legs, feeling how wet she was. His cock was already vying for the attention it desperately needed. He would’ve loved to tie her up, and properly take her, but he knew he was limited on time, so he thrust inside of her, earning a yelp mixed with a throaty, Oh God!
She writhed as he pounded her again and again. Her body trembled as her pussy clamped around him, her orgasm causing her legs to collapse. He held her up with his arm, then pumped his final thrust into her, emptying his come into her pulsating core.
He stood up, releasing her on shaky legs. She turned around smiling at him. He bent down to retrieve her dress then handed it to her. She kind of faltered, hoping he would at least kiss her, but the look on his face let her know this wasn’t emotional for him, or something he wanted long term. He handled her like no man could, so it pissed her off that she was just a lay to him. She snatched her dress from him and stormed off.
Dom didn’t give a flying fuck that she was pissed off. As the crow eater was leaving, he heard Hauser’s laugh.
Hey Dom!
yelled Hauser from the common room.
What the fuck do you want?
He responded, while buttoning his pants.
We got another lead. VP wants us to check it out. Hurry up and put that thing away, man!
Dom shook his head and sighed. He was tired, he looked like it too, but it was all part of the brotherhood. They would search day and night until they found out what happened to their Pres. Nobody fucked with the Dragons and lived to tell the tale. Once they found who was behind the kidnapping, they would suffer. They would burn to kingdom come.
Chapter 2
A skull with text on it Description automatically generatedA week had passed since the kidnapping and still no trace of the Pres. It was wearing on True’s nerves. He blamed himself and, in essence, it was his fault. If he hadn’t been upstairs at the bike shop fucking, he would’ve been with Devon and no one would’ve jumped him.
Now here he sat in Devon’s office, doing the Pres’s job, taking his role, making shit happen while trying to figure out where, who and why.
Clark had been a great help to him. If True wasn't the VP to Devon, Clark would definitely fit that profile. He'd been a rock for True, a sounding board. While True was coordinating efforts for about everything, Clark had been researching jobs, making sure they weren't walking into traps. If they lost another brother due to lack of research it'd kill him. Clark had been fantastic at the job and right now, he wouldn't be able to do the job without him.
He would have also lost his shit if it wasn’t for Jezzy and Brynn. Even though those two were also worried sick about Devon, they were putting on a brave face if not for their own sake, for the sake of the Club. So much depended on the Pres, which right now fell all on True. They told him to get his shit together and keep the club going until they got Devon back. What that meant was jobs still needed to get done.
True was supposed to go on a job that day but now since he was the acting Pres, he couldn’t go anywhere. Someone had to stay behind to coordinate all efforts to find Devon and at the same time jobs needed to be assigned. As much as he would have liked to go on this operation, he wasn’t able to, so he asked Dominic if he could do it with Hauser. Dom was a new addition to the club, and together with Hauser they made the most brutal enforcers.
The assignment entailed killing a man who was kidnapping and selling young women into slavery and running a breeding house. Some of the women would have babies they could use, the males they would sell on the black market to childless couples, and the females they would raise and train to be sex slaves. It was one of the captives that broke away who hired the club. Devon had researched this job for months before he was taken. It was time to act, and no one could pull this off better than Dominic and Hauser.
The men were eager to get their hands dirty since they were frustrated as fuck that after a few days of searching and following leads, they still couldn’t find their boss. The kidnappers had left no trace for them to follow and since the shop where he was taken was in the middle of MC territory, they didn’t really have any cameras where they could pull off video footage to see who had done it. They had one, inside
