What’s the sad face for?
her mom asked when she came back inside.
I wanted to play outside, but it’s raining.
I’m sorry honey. Why don’t you go grab your favorite blanket and we’ll find a good movie to watch on TV.
Daisy ran up to her room to get her blanket. After she finally found it, she started to go back downstairs when she heard a strange noise coming from the third floor. Suddenly remembering the magic door, she threw her blanket back in her room and ran up to the top floor of the house.
She had no idea what the sound was or if the door would even open, but since she was very curious, she had to try. Daisy reached for the handle and when it turned, she got a big smile on her face.
She was excited to see where the door was going to take her this time. Would she go back and see Princess Rose? Or would she discover a wonderful new land?
Daisy opened the door all the way. It wasn’t a path in the forest like last time, but appeared to be a small closet with brooms and a door opposite to where she was standing. Her love for adventure had her stepping into the small closet without hesitation. She knew the door back home would be waiting for her when she was ready, so she closed it and was excited to see where she was.
