    Chapter 1

Lucas looked over his shoulder to see what had Daisy gasping. All he saw was the staff standing there. Turning back, he saw her face grow pale. Gram walked over as Lucas held her, a worried look on his face. Daisy stood there staring at the ghost who was waving. She just found out that Lucas’ family owned the castle and didn’t even have time to process that when she saw the ghostly spirit. Her mind tried to process it all but it just zoned out. She heard Lucas and Gram calling her name but she was far away. The ghost called out to her. Hello Lass, good to see you. It’s about time you got here. I heard many good things about you. That fine young man you are with, let him take you inside lass.

Daisy felt her legs give and two strong arms lifting her. She heard Katie and Gram talking but her head was spinning. That was the last she heard before passing out. Lucas looked at Gram. Did she see something or did I do too good a job surprising her?

Nina looked towards the entrance and saw the spirit. Hands on hips she shook her head. No, you did nothing wrong Lucas. The fact that your family has a castle was a shock to us all but it’s the ghost that is standing at the door that threw her. He seems like a nice enough fellow, smiling and all. Let’s get our girl inside and I will try to find out more. Katie and Hank looked at each other and followed as Lucas carried Daisy inside. The ghost faded out as they walked towards the entrance.

The staff welcomed them as soon as they walked in and a tall woman with her hair in a bun stood there grinning, until she saw Daisy. Welcome back sir, it has been a long while. Is the missus alright? We have the rooms prepared as you asked. Would you like to have the lass lie down a bit? When she wakes up I can get Fergus to bring some tea and cakes. Lucas smiled at the woman. Great to be back Sadie. I think the trip tired my wife out. Yes, please have him bring up some food. Thank you.

He turned with Daisy in his arms towards the others. I’m going to get my bride settled into our suite. This is Sadie Macbain. She runs the castle hotel and works for my family and me. She is a true asset and will take care of whatever you need. He turned to Sadie. This is Nina Tremonte, or gram as I know her. She’s Daisy’s grandmother. Her companion is Hank Edwards. Katie walked over to the woman and held out her hand. Hi, I’m Katie Brenner, best friend of the bride. Nice to meet you. Sadie looked at the hand and turned to Lucas who grinned. She took it, smiling warmly. Nice to meet you, Miss Katie. You have some fine red hair. Any Scots in your gene pool? Katie flushed and shrugged. Sadie smiled brightly, patting her shoulder. It’s fine love. How about we get all you fine folks settled and if you’re up to it, come enjoy a bite to eat. I know you must all be exhausted from the trip. Lucas told the others he would see them later as he carried Daisy up the stairs to the second floor.

Though the castle had been renovated,Lucas’ family wanted it to retain some of its original look. So the elevators began on the second floor. They didn’t go to the top yet though as those floors were still needing more renovations. Hank, Nina, and Katie followed two of the staff who helped show them to their rooms. Gram smiled at Hank and Katie. Once we settle in I need to tell you both something. She looked at the staff. Katie nodded. "Okay gram, let me settle in and I will be at your room in a bit.

She walked away with the other staff person,Melody. Young with blonde hair and freckles, she chatted happily and Katie found she liked her very much. They walked down the hall and huge portraits were hung all along the walls. There were small gold plates under each portrait. They described Lucas’ ancestors. Katie made a note to read them later. When Melody opened the large door, they stepped inside and her eyes widened making the maid smile. The room was huge. It was decorated in tones of burgundy and gold and the bed was large with a headboard made of dark wood.

The four posts at each corner had intricate carvings and the canopy above almost reached the ceiling. To the left was a desk and chair and to the right was a huge closet and dresser. There was a full length mirror and feeling a breeze Katie turned to see the curtains blowing. As she stepped in further she saw a huge balcony. Looking at Melody who was watching, she laughed. This room is bigger than the first apartment Daisy and I shared. Wow. It’s amazing. Is there a bathroom? Melody giggled and then stopped herself. Yes, Miss.Katie, of course. Do ye think we are savages? Her eyes twinkled and Katie laughed. Lead the way Mel.

She had already given the young woman a nickname. They opened another door and Katie saw the most wonderful bathroom. A claw foot tub sat to the right with a separate shower stall near it. On the left was a sink and vanity with a chair. There was a stained glass window by the tub and shelves full of towels, and bath items. On a hook behind the door were two fluffy robes. Katie just wanted to wrap herself in them as she rubbed one on her face. Melody smiled brightly. Miss.Katie, we even have heated toilet seats, and a bidet for the extra cleaning you may be wanting. It has its own heat setting so you can adjust to your needs. Will you be needing anything else?

Katie looked at the young woman and grinned. Only that you call me Katie okay? If you are going to be here to help me with what I need then I would like to be on a first name basis. You don’t need to be formal with me. Melody smiled and nodded, turning to go. That would be fine Katie. Thank you. If you need anything just ring the bell over here, as it’s an intercom. Other than that, enjoy your stay and I’ll be seeing you in a wee bit.

When she left, Katie saw that her luggage had already been placed by the bed. Taking her shoes and jacket off, she ran to the bed, and stepping on the small stool next to it, jumped onto it. As she fell back she moaned in happiness. I can get used to this! Giggling she lay in the soft pillows which had a light lavender scent and breathed deeply. She thought about Daisy and wondered what caused her to react the way she did. It was Luke and her honeymoon and even though she was invited she didn’t want to intrude all the time.

Katie decided to get freshened up, change into something else, and then meet gram and Hank. Looking at her phone she had about twenty minutes. Smiling, she sat up. This was going to be an interesting adventure. She just had a feeling.

Daisy opened her eyes and looked around. She felt like she was lying on a cloud. The bed was so soft. Trying to sit up, a warm hand gently pushed her back onto the pillows. Worried green eyes looked at her and she took his hand, smiling. Lucas bent to kiss her lips, stroking her face. Daisy, what happened? Gram said you saw something. I know the plane trip was a bit interesting for you. He wiggled his eyebrows up and down, making her laugh. Was it learning that my family owns the castle or the ghost or both? You had a far away look in your eyes and your face grew pale. Everyone was worried. Talk to me, wife.

She smiled upon hearing him call her that. Moving to sit up despite Lucas telling her to lay on the pillows, she leaned in to him. I’m fine. Truly. I just had a surprise of sorts. It wasn’t just learning about your castle, though it would have been nice to find out sooner. That was some surprise. She nudged him in the shoulder and he chuckled, kissing her hand. What really did it was the ghost at the entrance waving to me. I’m glad Gram saw him too. Daisy sighed. Here I thought we would have a nice quiet honeymoon and now there’s a spirit who needs my attention. He looked like a nice man, but still.I just got here. I wanted to at least unpack before seeing a ghost. Maybe gram will make some sense of it. In fact, I’m sure of it. Anyway, that’s why. Plus you wore me out on the plane. She smiled, her eyes twinkling. I feel much better now. Even a bit hungry. Her stomach made a little noise.

Lucas turned and pointed to a table that had tea and cakes and some other treats. I had Fergus bring this up to us. You’ll meet him and everyone else later. For now let’s have some food. As for the ghost, the castle has been known to have hauntings, but that was pretty quick. He looked into her eyes. Then again, my gifted one, you are pretty special. He bent to kiss her lips, and Daisy groaned, grabbing onto his shoulders. Her stomach growled again and they broke apart laughing. Lucas took her hand to help her up. I think we better get some food in you wifey. Afterwards we’ll unpack and then see how the others are doing. I love you Daisy Avery.

She smiled and got up to sit at the table. Just so you know, I fully enjoyed our bathroom romp on the plane and I love you too hubby. Lucas chuckled and they sat down to eat. Daisy knew she needed to go exploring and find out more about the ghost. That could be done later. Looking over at Lucas she realized it was nice to be able to tell him everything and not hide her gifts anymore. A little while later, after they unpacked, Lucas and Daisy decided to shower. Lucas wasn’t sure if she was up for it, but then Daisy touched him making him groan. They ended up making love in the shower until she couldn’t stand. He had to carry her out until she could walk again.

Feeling better and energized they changed and went to find the others.Daisy hadn’t gotten a chance to see any of the castle and walking down the hallway she looked at all the portraits and sculptures. Lucas filled her in on some of it,as not only was it a hotel, but a museum too as his family had artifacts that were centuries old and displayed along the different floors. Daisy wanted to know more about Lucas’ family history and he told her they had a huge library on the third floor. It had his family’s history starting from the beginning and she would get lost enjoying herself. She grasped his hand tightly and sighed. I can’t wait. I might even find some information on that ghost I saw. He has to appear to me again so we can talk. I just hope he isn’t a peeping tom.

Lucas looked at her and smiled. Well if he is, then we need to give him a really good show babe. Daisy playfully hit his arm and she giggled. It was enough that Adele saw us once. I would rather not have a repeat performance. Just as she said that, rose scented perfume filled the air.

Adele appeared grinning, hands on hips. Well hello you two lovebirds. Made it out of the bedroom I see. I heard my name and knew you were thinking of me Daisy. She looked around the area. Wow this is some joint. I never got to go anywhere. Edwin was going to take me to Italy for our honeymoon, but you know how that ended. She frowned. Still, we are together and for that I’m grateful. He says hello, and sorry he couldn’t be here today. Really busy day at the ghost committee. Seems a lot of cases have come in and there appears to be another gifted one in our midst. We don’t know much more about that yet. So Edwin needed to stay.

She smiled. He still had time to make me scream four times. Gotta love his stamina, my stallion. Daisy rolled her eyes, and Lucas looked at her smiling. Choosing to ignore that part, she stopped walking as what Adele said about another gifted one sunk in. She stepped in front of the ghost. Wait, what do you mean there’s another gifted one? There’s another like me? Is she related to me? Who is she? Where can I find her? Lucas, this is wonderful news! Maybe I can share the cases with her and have more time for us and my job. Adele you have to find out more.

Daisy saw her looking at a portrait and she turned, hands on hips Toots, that’s all I know. Edwin wasn’t even supposed to tell me that. Of course this person has to be related to you. Didn’t you read your family history? What makes you so sure it’s a female? Don’t they have male gifted ones in your gene pool too? She sighed. I will try to find out more but first I want to visit my girl Katie. Hot tamale, this is some place you got here. She looked around and listened as if hearing something. Gonna explain more as to what I mean. Daisy, there are a lot of spirits here. Did you know? Daisy thought about what she said for a moment. She assumed it was a female, but what if it was a male? They did occur every so often as her family history stated. Getting more excited she smiled at Adele. Yes it’s very haunted, in fact I already met a ghost. Well, sort of. He waved to me when we just arrived but I fainted. I plan to look for him later or tomorrow. Thanks for the information Adele. Going to see the lower part of the castle and wait for the others.

Adele looked at her and Lucas. Oh another case! How exciting. Well I’ll do my best to find out more about this other gifted one. Going to drop in on Katie and then go back to Edwin. He likes some afternoon delight before getting back to work. You two look like you had some of your own fun earlier. Ciao for now and Lucas, keep doing your husbandly duties. Okay hot tamale? Bye toots. Lucas chuckled and Daisy shook her head as Adele disappeared, her scent in the air. Turning to him she sighed. Some things will never change. Let’s go downstairs. Lucas kissed her hand and winked. Okay, but later you’re mine. After all, I need to keep my wife happy. Have to do my husbandly duties. He winked at her,and she laughed. They walked hand in hand.

Lucas pointed out the different rooms and he said there were even secret doorways that led to the outside for when his ancestors needed to escape from harm. They are modified with alarms now but the areas weren’t changed. Daisy could feel the presence of spirits but they seemed benevolent so she was alright with it. She found out that the castle had six floors and twelve rooms on each one. The first renovations began in nineteen hundred and the most recent, just last year.

They took the stairs down to the ground floor and Daisy touched the carved bannister sensing the history. Lucas promised she would get a full tour after lunch. Sadie, the castle manager, was walking and stopped to smile at them. Well hello Mrs.Avery. So nice to finally meet you. Are you feeling better? Ah, Lucas, she is a bonny one. You did well child. Daisy looked at Lucas who smiled, flushing a bit. Sadie laughed, her eyes twinkling I know this lad since he was in diapers. I could tell you many stories. Another time though. Now come have some lunch. The chef made quite the spread. Your family is already in the dining hall.

Daisy liked this woman immediately. Sadie, it’s a pleasure to meet you. Please, call me Daisy. She looked from Lucas to the woman.I would love to hear stories about my husband. I heard some from his mother. I’m feeling much better now. Just jet lag I guess. Sadie smiled and nodded. If you need anything Daisy, call Fergus. He’s Lucas’ servant, and now yours I am supposing. Ah so nice to have Avery’s here at the castle. It’s been way too long. Now go eat and I’ll see you two later. She walked off and Daisy turned to Lucas. I like her and have never seen you flush before. I kinda liked that too. She laughed and Lucas bent down to kiss her lips, making her moan. When he pulled away, his eyes were a deep green. I am going to make you flush later, all over. Now let’s eat babe. You’re going to need your strength Mrs.Avery.

When they walked into the huge room, Daisy’s eyes widened. This wasn’t a dining room like she was used to, it was the size of two large apartments. There was a long marble table that could seat over fifty people easily and a huge stone fireplace that was fifteen feet high. An arched window showed the lush outdoors and stood from ceiling to floor. It had been modernized as there were chairs and couches on the other side for those who wanted to relax after a meal. Along the walls were more portraits of ancestors. In some corners were the armor that his ancestors had worn in battle. On the other side was a baby grand piano where she figured music was played while guests dined.

Daisy’s senses were on overload taking all this in that she didn’t even see Lucas pulling out a chair for her to sit down. Feeling someone pulling at her arm,she turned to see Kaite grinning. Shaking herself to snap out of her thoughts she smiled at her friend. Dase, isn’t this amazing? We should totally move here. I can’t wait to search the whole castle. Who knows what we’ll find. Thank you for inviting me. I feel like something amazing is going to happen. Are you getting that vibe too?

Laughing at her friend’s excitement, she saw Gram grinning. Getting out of her seat, she walked over to her. Daisy, are you feeling better? Want to talk about it? Noticing that the staff was around them she said, Maybe later. Daisy nodded and took a sip of water sitting back in her chair. Gram walked back over to Hank who smiled. Daisy waited until the servants put all the food on the table and left the room. She wanted everyone to eat first, and after they could talk about what she saw

While filling their plates with the delicacies, Lucas explained each one. Katie filled her plate to the brim, and groaned with happiness after taking a bite of the Angus roast. Luke, this meat is so tender. I’m never leaving Scotland. Everyone laughed and began to eat. Lucas filled Daisy’s glass with an orange looking beverage. It’s called Irn-Bru and it’s the staple of soda here. Made since nineteen hundred one, it’s what they drink other than whisky. Try some love. She looked at the drink, smiled, and took a sip. The sweet, orange taste was delicious and she drank more.

Hank had some whiskey as did Lucas and Gram, and Katie drank the Irn-Bru. Daisy sampled all of the food and enjoyed the Steak Balmoral, Macaroni cheese pie, and cabbage very much. For dessert they brought in scones, shortbread, and something called Dundee cake which was a fruit cake topped with almonds. They had tea with the dessert and Daisy was full even though Lucas kept adding more treats to her plate. She finally pushed it away and laughed seeing Katie taking seconds on the treats. Looking at her, Katie smiled and shrugged.Dase, it’s just too good.

Shaking her head Daisy giggled. Some things would never change. She sipped her tea which was called Scottish blend. Lucas told her it was full-bodied with a malty taste and usually taken with sugar and milk. It was delicious and Daisy made a note to buy some to take home with her. The table was cleared and they took their tea and dessert to sit by the couches and chairs while the fireplace warmed the chilly hall.

Daisy knew this was the perfect time to talk to gram about the ghost. After, she would tell the others the whole story. Walking over she sat down next to her and gave a hug. Gram, I’m so glad you’re here with Hank. Thank you for being part of Lucas and my new life as husband and wife here in Scotland. I wanted to ask what you saw when we got here. Right after Lucas told us about his family owning the castle, I saw a ghost waving to me at the entrance. I think it was too much information overload and that caused me to faint. You saw him too, didn’t you?

She sipped her tea and took a shortbread even though she was full. Gram patted her hand and smiled. Yes, I saw him too. He was dressed in a kilt and had brownish hair. Fine looking fellow. Didn’t get any evil vibes. I’m sorry this happened on your first day. I was so hoping you and Lucas would have some kind of a honeymoon first. Maybe make me a great granny too. I am glad to see you so happy and have a man who loves and accepts your gifts. Have you seen the spirit since?

Daisy sat back against the sofa. No, not since I arrived but I have sensed other spirits. This place is filled with them. I’m hoping to make contact with him so I plan to walk around the castle later. Want to come with me? Gram looked over to see Hank wink at her then turn back to Lucas and Katie. Yes, I think we should also add Katie to the mix. Adele visited her earlier and told her that there seems to be another gifted one around. If that’s true then we need to find him or her. Did Adele mention that to you? If so, that would make our case easier, if there is one. Daisy agreed and told her what Adele had said to her. I was really excited to hear that too. At first I thought it was female but it could be a male. What if it’s one of the staff? I agree though. It would be amazing to have extra help and meet another relative. Gram smiled and nodded in agreement.

Looking around, Daisy saw Lucas watching her, his eyes heated. She smiled and stood up. I think I’m going to take a nap. Sleep off this wonderful but filling lunch. Talk to you later, gram? Nina looked at Lucas and smiled knowing they weren’t going to get any sleep. Katie rolled her eyes knowingly, then grinned. As Lucas stood up, Daisy turned to her grandmother, whispering, We need to start on those grandkids. Gram’s eyes twinkled. Daisy laughed and told the others she would see them later for dinner. Lucas smiled and they walked back to their room. Whether it was the air, the food, or the castle, Daisy wasn’t sure. She just knew she needed to be with Lucas, alone and naked. Later, they would explore the castle to see if the ghost would appear.

Once they got to their bedroom, Daisy began to undress. She had put on a new set of lingerie but this time she added thigh highs. Lucas hadn’t seen her put this on as he had dried off after bringing her out of the bathroom. As she slowly took off her blouse, Lucas sat on the bed watching. Fergus had lit the fireplace earlier, so the light played on her body as she lowered her skirt to the floor. Even though they had made love earlier, she wanted him again.

When Lucas saw the thigh highs and the tiny strip of the thong he groaned. She was becoming more daring, and even sexier if possible, and he felt himself grow hard with need. Daisy slowly walked to him and he opened his legs as she moved in. Looking down she threaded her fingers in his hair. I love you so much Lucas. I want and need to feel your body moving with mine. Take me please.

He growled and took his shirt off in one move, his broad, muscular shoulders and chest gleaming in the firelight. Daisy bent down to kiss his lips, moving her legs to straddle his lap. Grabbing onto her round, soft butt cheeks, Lucas moved her closer so she was rubbing against the hard bulge in his pants. She groaned, feeling the heat of his body. His hand moved lower, fingers slipping inside the thong, He started stroking the fire inside of her. Daisy moaned and moved into his fingers as they explored her. She looked into his eyes as her lips sucked on his, her mouth moving to his ear to suck and bite. She caressed his shoulders tenderly as she kissed his neck while his fingers stroked, finding her bud. Daisy began to move faster into his hand. She slowly moved her hands behind her back and opened her bra. It slid from her arms. Her full breasts stood high and the rosy nipples stood erect. Lucas took one into his mouth, licking and sucking as she bucked into his hand faster moaning. Lucas please, I need you now.

Lucas moved his hand and ripped the thin material of her thong, throwing it aside. He unzipped his pants, pulling out his long, thick, throbbing member. He started rubbing it up along her now moist folds. Hearing her breathing getting faster, Lucas lifted her up by the hips as he slowly entered her in one move. Daisy leaned back, overcome by the sensations and how full she felt. He began to move. Looking into each other’s eyes, they moved together, in sync with each other’s bodies. Lucas went back to her breasts, sucking each in turn as one hand moved down to the front of them, finding her swollen button and rubbing it in circles. Daisy cried out as the pleasure built up. Clutching him by the shoulders she moved faster, wanting more and Lucas gave it to her. God, you feel so good Daisy. So hot and you fit me like a glove. I want you to come hard and fast, now. Two fingers pinched and rubbed her swollen nub and she exploded, screaming out his name as the orgasm surged through her.

He held her tightly with one hand as he now thrust up and into her deeply, causing her to fall over the edge again. Daisy’s eyes rolled in the back of her head when another orgasm hit. She felt like she was flying and heard Lucas groan as he finally came inside of her, filling her up. This caused her to come once more. Lucas roared her name, holding her in place as he exploded, still rubbing her swollen nub. He kissed her lips, as she screamed and let his warmth bathe her walls.

As they came back down to earth, and their heartbeats slowed, their bodies were glistening with sweat. Daisy had her head on his shoulder, her body limp from the orgasms. She slowly opened her eyes to see fireworks above them, which occurred whenever they made love. Sighing in contentment she hugged him. Lucas kissed her shoulder and stroked her back gently. Well, my wife, I think I did my husbandly duties quite well. What do you say? Daisy giggled and slowly leaned back to look at him. Oh I would say so husband. She yawned and Lucas smiled. He kissed her and gently picked her up in his arms, walking to the bed.I think a nap is in order. He placed her gently down, and pulled back the covers, letting Daisy move underneath. She watched as he took his pants off and naked, climbed into bed with her. She moved into his arms, leaning her head on his chest and placed her hand on it contentedly. As she fell asleep, Lucas heard her say she loved him.

Daisy woke up curled in Lucas’ arms. She remembered feeling his head between her legs earlier after they had slept a bit, and screaming out his name, twice. Even married, their attraction persisted. It was like they couldn’t get enough of each other. She smiled happily as she planned to surprise him in bed later. It was his turn to be pleased. As she lay there, she began to think about the new ghost she saw. How was she going to find him? She needed to go searching the castle and after finding him, go to the family library to do research. As she thought about her next move, she felt a hand stroking her back. Smiling, she saw the deep green eyes of her husband grinning at her. What are you thinking about babe? I know that look.

Lucas kissed her gently on the lips and continued to touch her. Daisy wished she could stay in this room, in bed with him all day but there was a ghost to meet and she wanted to see some of Scotland too. Touching his stubbly chin, she smiled warmly. I need to find the ghost Lucas. I have to find out his story and do some research in the library. I also want to see more of the castle and maybe do some sightseeing. Is that wrong? It’s our honeymoon and I feel a bit guilty for wanting some time to enjoy it, knowing a new ghost probably needs my help.

He looked at her face and slowly moved her to her back as he moved over her, touching her curly hair. You have every right to want a honeymoon. Never feel bad about what you want Daisy. This is the only time you will be having one. We are forever wife. So how about we get showered, have some dinner with the others and I’ll take all of you on a tour of the castle. Tomorrow, we can go into town and see some sights. Then later tonight, you can ravish me. Sounds good? Daisy giggled and nodded her head, eyes sparkling. Why do I believe you are gaining some gifts of your own,my husband? Now kiss me and let’s get downstairs. We need to shower and dress. Lucas chuckled and did what he was asked.

An hour and a half later, they walked downstairs, hand in hand to see Fergus talking to Sadie. They turned and smiled. Fergus grinned. Evening Sir and Missus. Did you enjoy your rest? The others are having their dinner in the dining room. Sadie and I were talking about something strange that happened the other night. Before you got here. Seems somebody left flowers all over the staircase. He looked at Sadie. Wonder which ghost did that one? Sadie shushed him and walked over to Lucas and Daisy. Never mind him,Daisy. Fergus has a vivid imagination. Lucas gave a look to Daisy who winked. It’s okay Sadie, Daisy believes in ghosts and she knows this place has a history of hauntings. In fact, I’m going to show her the rest of the castle so she can learn more about it. Now, what delicious foods did the chef prepare for us? Sadie gave a sigh of relief, told them what was on the menu, and wished them a good evening as they walked away.

When Lucas slid the huge doors open, the others were eating and talking. Katie saw Daisy and grinned. Another marathon lovebirds? Geez, take a breather. Daisy rolled her eyes
