I want to dedicate this book to all of us who have had to turn some pretty sour lemons in life into a good tasting lemonade after all was said and done;
and if your not finished with the chapter you are going through, hold on to your faith and be thankful for all of those little things you can do each day with help from the lord.
For those who I know and love and have impacted my life in one way or another I bid you a heartfelt Thank you
and for those I may never meet, we all have one thing in common...Life and the choices we make, may they be good or bad; or if they just happen; we learn and grow from each one somehow.
Let IT go and let God....And may the Lord Jesus bless you on your journey. Thank you, Love Grammy Donna...

About the Author
Chapter 1
I would imagine each of us can recall a time in our lives where we felt that we had cheated death.
From a simple fall that could have turned fatal to a car accident that could have been worse. In each encounter, you knew that a divine presence had seen you through the situation…
I, as well as many, call on the Lord Jesus to help us...
Who do you call on when you need help?
My name is Donna, and I’m going to share some true life stories that actually happened…
In my life journey as a newborn, I had a problem with a belly button hernia and a skin tag over my right ear that would require help within the first two days of my life...I was told that two very tall surgeons had worked on me at the same time…
My first encounter with a near death experience; as with all surgery’s, there are risks…
Moving on from there brought me to fall down our basement steps. For me, I got the air knocked out, for my sister Kay, well, she tripped going up the steps and broke through an artery in her mouth, sending her to the ER for help…My brother put his fist through a glass door, sending him in for stitches in his wrist.
Any accident can be a Nasty
one. I can still recall doing a Cherry drop
from the swing set bar and landing on my chest; I felt like I was dying…
Do you think that stopped me from doing it again?
I think I used to want to be an acrobat in the circus or something..LOL (I would not have survived).
As I grew, I made friends with my bike. (Or so I thought!) I found out, with the many falls I took that I truly was not meant to ride a bike, or if I did, I should have kept the training wheels on. Lol.
One time in particular that I can recall was going downhill on my purple sparkly banana seat bike and feeling kind of scared to do so but I did it anyway, only to get my bell bottoms stuck into the chain, sending me down that hill with my hands in front scraping my arms up but worse was my chin. I looked up at my baby brother Earl, and he ran away from me, not telling me how bad it looked...I ran up to the security office. When they saw me, they looked like they had turned a bit white...They got a hold of my folks and they drove me, yes, up to ER again to have stitches put in…
( I believe I was more afraid of the shot than the stitches).
As it turned out, in my moments of fear, I felt a presence calm me. It was after that, when I surrendered my will that my good was able to come to me. This part would be a good lesson for me in my life! Yours as well! (Remember to breathe out…)
In that moment, I believed as children, we have angels around us. Well, it just so happened in this rural town of Cawfield, Mo. There was a surgeon visiting from Asia. He was a plastic surgeon who had stitched me up.
He was leaving back home the next day… God has divine timing in so very many situations!
At age 12, it turned out beautiful after looking like a football player for a few weeks ( due to the strap across my chin of various adhesives to keep it covered for the 10 stitches). The surgeon had followed the contour of my chin line...
My mom had called our church and family and I truly feel that answered prayers were heard that day.
I now understand that a huge scar could have been under my chin.
I invite you to pray if you don’t already because, given time, you will receive an answer to your prayer. Sometimes it takes longer than we want it to, or it may come a little different than we want to see it, but you have to understand somehow, in the end, it was for your best. It’s part of a plan for you.
There were several accidents in between
