Chaos Is Order

About this ebook
Sometimes it all makes sense, it all falls into a shelving system, with spaces, and categories, and easy places to put things. Life lines up. And then it doesn't. Sometimes something happens to create the out of line experiences. Everything makes sense. And then suddenly, it doesn't.
The thread-wide boundary between chaos and order is central to this poetic/artistic exploration.
Can we intentionally use chaos in the creative process? This was Adam Tramantano's initial experiment in creating the Chaos is Order paintings in 2020. In 2023, he explored the question through poetry.
Chaos Is Order is a collection of ten poems and ten abstract paintings. The collection explores the portrayals of and enactments of chaos and order, and whether it's possible to arrive at a semblance of order through an intentionally chaotic process.
From the conclusion: "Convergent creative activities, ones where we explore something similar but in a different creative modality, have the potential to both confuse and clarify."
