PREFACE

The material and much of the body of this book, as the Sequel to Salutations from Heaven, journal the entries of my close encounters with the Holy Spirit in my quiet times in His presence. These writings reveal my spiritual transformation by the power of God and my growing pains as a born-again believer. As I learned to know the voice of God and became more aware of His manifested presence, prophetic revelations, creativity, revelatory knowledge, and the wisdom of God flooded the essence of my being with deeper intimacy, hunger, and desire for higher realms of His Glory! A deep closeness with God’s presence caused me to seek more, yearn for more, and dwell more under God’s sovereign guidance and control.

God’s providence is Him caring for and providing for His children as He guides them in their spiritual journey of faith and transformation through life to accomplish His purpose. How wonderful to know that God desires that we know His voice. How marvelous is it that He yearns for intimacy with His creation? How magnificent is it that He longs for us to know Him, to become more like Him, and to give us the answers to the questions that are most concerning to us?

Salutations from Heaven Part II, The Sequel, are more in-depth conversations, prolific teachings, divine counsel, and prophecies given to me on Heaven’s throne. As a result of my seeking Him, God provided the understanding and answers to my questions, challenges, and dilemmas that prevented me from living fully in His presence. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm. You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you (Psalm 91:1-5, TPT).

This book focuses on a deeper intimacy that I have experienced in the presence of the Lord. It will help awaken you to the fact that the voice of the Holy Spirit is as loud as your willingness to pursue a place of quietness and listen. INTRODUCTION

I have been working for the Ministry for over 35 years. In that time, in service to God and others, I have found many misunderstandings, misconceptions, and erroneous teachings concerning discipleship and being Christ-like. The by-product of this has been a lack of intimacy with the presence of God. His indwelling presence has been a mystery to many and seldom understood without divine revelation.

But a time is coming and even now has arrived when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people, the Father seeks to be His worshipers (John 4:23, NASB).

Being stuck in the thought of religion, intellect, and rationalization of spiritual things only stagnates the intimacy and true fellowship that the almighty God seeks and yearns after concerning you. A desire to know God, His presence, and sovereignty begins the journey of experiencing God more intimately and discerning His will for you.

I have read several books regarding the presence of God. However, nothing has been more fulfilling or enlightening than having my own experience in the throne room of God and spending moments in intimate fellowship with my Heavenly Father. It is His Spirit that works in us to do His good pleasure. Anything of eternal value in this life and eternity comes through the work of the Holy Spirit in us. If we want to follow Jesus and realize we need His help, God gives us His Holy Spirit. All we need to do is to ask for it and be obedient (Luke 11:9-13; Acts 5:32). I also believe that if we fail to understand the role and function of the divine presence of God by way of His Spirit, then we will tend to either misuse or abuse the grace that comes with it.

The Holy Spirit has a purpose and plan in the life of every born-again believer. Learning to measure ourselves against the divine attributes of God, embracing the fullness of His love in creating us, and allowing His Spirit to work in us so that we can worship Him in Spirit and truth is what dwelling in the presence of God is all about.

… to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height; And to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:16-19).

Wherever you are in your spiritual journey and level of spiritual maturity, you must learn that your overall capacity to experience the divine life God designed for you rests on understanding your Sonship. Spiritual growth is intentional. Our understanding of our identity dramatically impacts every part of our lives. Knowing who you are in Christ and the spiritual DNA you share with Him because of the finished work of the cross is crucial to your identification.

Your God-given identity enables you to receive divine love, experience extreme intimacy, and nurture and manage healthy relationships. Your identification with Christ will also cause you to reveal the Father, bring Heaven to Earth, and have substantial mental and emotional health and well-being.

Unfortunately, many religious forums of today have not yet discovered their authentic Sonship. As a result, most Christians only hear about a relationship with Christ but never truly experience it. You should not miss out anymore! You can come out of your sleep and sluggishness and discover the power of Sonship through intimacy with the Holy Spirit that produces a brand-new ‘Great Awakening’ of the supernatural with close encounters and visitations of God and His divine presence.

You must come to realize that your overall state of being, your spiritual life, your emotions, your mental health, your relationship with yourself, with God, and with others are dependent upon your Sonship with Jesus Christ. It is not in your religion that you find wholeness and healing for your soul. But in deep intimacy with the divine presence of God.

Whether we care to acknowledge it or not, Sonship in Christ has unfortunately become a system of religious rhetoric rather than spiritual intimacy. Such error in teaching authentic Sonship in Christ has caused unnecessary pain rooted in formalities, traditions, pretense, dogma, and customs that take precedence over having intimacy with the Spirit of God. These things have become habitual and personify a form of godliness that denies the true manifestation
