This has not been an easy journey, after sending my manuscript to Covenant books my manuscript was sent to Xulon Press for publication. This was not a rewarding experience or easy. The first time sent I was put on a payment plan to pay for their services, which was fine with me being that the cost was in the thousands. I put a thousand dollar down payment on my bill thinking that it would expedite the process. I would receive calls from their Publication Coordinator on a regular basis. This went on for several months until a certain level of payment was obtained, then I stopped hearing from them, also my calls would go unanswered. This process went on for approximately sixteen months with the ten-dollar author kit. I was incredibly upset. Not wanting to give up on my project, feeling that the people of God needed encouragement, and direction to the truth. Several months went by of me being upset, knowing that the book would be a great benefit to the readers. I decided to put my feelings aside and not give up. I decided to send the manuscript thru the same company a second time thinking that maybe God was working on my humility, patience and pride. The same coordinator that worked on my book the first time was now assigned to me the second time, familiar with all the problems and situations that I experienced the first time. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I was referred to a coordinator of her choice and that person would stay on the course and produce a finished product. For the payment, I decided to only
