For most of my life I have thought about this thing we call God and how it operate. I have been on so called soul searches looking for this God and it all lead me to the same places. It was either a building or to someone telling me not to question God. Until one day I decided to stop looking outside of myself and started looking within myself. With that switch, I found more in a few months than I had found all of my life. To my surprise, everything I learned I had already know. This is the point where I truly understood that old saying, there is nothing new under the sun. At this moment I realized it was nothing new I was learning, I just starting to remember what I had always knew. We sometimes get this urge inside of us that nags us to do something other than what we are currently doing and until we obey that urge we will always feel incomplete. I enjoy making people feel comfortable and helping them to realize the power that they possess within. Helping them to be encourage to pursue that degree, business or anything they desire within.

I Am That, I Am God - R. J. Holloway MBA
MY BEGINNINGS
I was raised as a Baptist. Went to church with my grandmother from a baby until my teens. Vacation Bible school every summer and was actually on the junior usher board.
I can remember like it was yesterday, every Sunday my grandmother would make us a big breakfast. When I look back on them days I realized the purpose of the big breakfast. In a loving way, it was a set up. We would be gone most of the day. Sunday school in the morning with a little break after that and then church.
Some of my memorable moments going to a Church in Smithfield, Virginia was sitting on the back pew talking and playing, quietly of course. Watching my grandmother sing in the choir and watching some of the older men fall asleep during church service then waking up as if they heard everything that was said.
During my time even as a child, I was never interested in church and the way things were taught. As a child and hearing some of the conversations that took place with the adults, it was nothing like what they taught in Sunday school class. I think some adults forgot that we could hear or maybe did not care. I may have not fully understood what was actually going on at the time, but what I did know was what I was taught in Sunday school of how Jesus was, they were in no way trying to be like him. I hear a lot of things said about other people in church. As a child, I would feel some kind of way because I thought Jesus was a nice man who did not talk bad about other people.
The Jesus that was taught to me was a nice easygoing man. Matthew 5:39 – But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. To be honest, no one I know have or will do this and this takes me to another point on why I decided to write this book.
I have heard people say that they have read the bible from front to back several times and personally I do not see anything wrong with that. As for me, I have not.
There are parts in the Bible that I do not agree with and does not make sense or make me feel good to read. Like the verse mention in a few paragraphs back, Matthew 5:39. Yes, I do believe in the Law of Resistance, but I will not stand there and let some evil person slap me on the right side of my face and then turn my face to allow this person to slap me again on my left side.
The more I started reading the Bible the more I realized how important some of the stories are and how I could use them in my everyday life.
To the best of my ability and with the guidance of the God within, I will break down different verses and stories from the Bible and explain them in ways that will hopefully inspire and motivate you.
I will not go verse by verse, just like the preacher on Sunday morning I will skip around and focus only on the verses that pertains to the topic at hand.
When reading this book, I want you to have an open mind and ask yourself what make sense to you. Look back your life and remember the different situations you have been in and allow yourself to visualize what I am saying. Remember, Have a Mind That Is Open to Everything but Attached to Nothing
THE POWER OF THE MIND
M y real experience using the power of my mind or some may call it the Law of Attraction started when my wife and I moved from Virginia to Charlotte, NC with no jobs, just faith and with the belief that we will get jobs as soon as we get to Charlotte.
We found one of those extended stay hotels and planned on living there for at least a month. All of that changed one night, in which I call a John Q moment. My wife and I were discussing plans on how to move out of the hotel into an apartment. In so many words the conversation ended in her saying to me, Do Something
.
The next day I went by every temp agency I could find, I also stopped by apartment complexes. Within a week I had found a gig, I say gig because it was a little job until I got a bigger job. That same week I found an apartment.
Now, the deposit on the apartment. Just when I thought everything was flowing smooth, we had to come up with a deposit for the apartment. Looking back on this now, I realize during this time I was moving fearless. Every moved I had made up until this point was by faith and perseverance.
I know this to be true because two days later and with a few hundred dollars in the bank I received an unexpected deposit. That was the first time I contributed something to the law of attraction and understood how thoughts become things.
A month later I got hired as an Inventory Clerk at a semi new laboratory company. It this moment I felt as though I was on my way.
After moving into our apartment and once we got settled we would riding around Charlotte getting familiar with the area and looking at houses. This soon went from passive looking to actively looking to buy a home.
One Sunday afternoon we rode into this community where they were still building home. There were maybe seven or eight lots for sale. We stopped and walked inside some of the open homes. It was like love at first sight. The feeling we felt in this one particular home was overwhelming. It had all of the amenities that we were looking for.
A week later doing our normal Sunday routine of house hunting, we got lost and ended up in the same community that we were in that past Sunday. We both took this as a sign that this will be our future neighborhood that we were to live in.
Going through the process of buying a house was the most tedious thing that I had ever done. Even still, everything was going as plan until my debt to ratio wasn’t good enough. Here is where I thought this was the end. However, as you know, the Universal Law of Attraction is always working. Ask, and it shall be given. Two weeks later I got promoted to Inventory Control Manager and that came with a raise. Even with this happening the journey was not over.
The next year and a half I became aware of how to use the Law of Attraction. I visualized owning my home before I signed any paperwork stating it was mines. I told people that our house was being built
