I would like to thank Deira International school for all their support.

I was just having breakfast in the kitchen, Waffles with lotus spread and Nutella, my favourite. I was getting ready for school very quickly because I was extremely late! Old boring school uniform I know! I packed up as rapidly as I can and went out of the door and raced to school with my scooter. I saw Alexa and Steve, two of my best friends, waiting for me in front of the school gates. They are called Alexa and Steve because they’re twins and their parents are these famous Minecraft gamers, Alexa and Steve are both the main boy and girl skin in Minecraft. When I parked my scooter and ran to them, I noticed something weird about them. They both were wearing spray paint on their hair. The colours were blue and pink. Before I could ask them why did they hair spray their hair they noticed I was confused and answered, Our parents said we will get more subscribers if we colour our hair. We went in school and saw Karina waving at us from our usual bench. Karina was the smartest in the school. Even smarter than the year 9s. She is younger than all of us in 2 years because she skipped year 4 and 5. Before she was going to tell us something the bell rang and everyone charged into school. I sat at my seat next to Karina and Toby. Me and Toby used to be best friends in year 2 but we got in a fight and now we don’t talk to each other. The last time we talked was when Miss made us talk in a group to do our science project. Karina gave me a note saying: ‘Meet me after school at Glowing Ball.’ I asked myself, why glowing ball? Karina hates sports and she never breaks the rules in class and she gave me a NOTE! I really need to know what’s going on.

Me and Karina did not talk about it at lunch time but I knew she told Alexa and Steve because they were quiet too and not to be rude but that is very rare of them. Next we had arts which of course Alexa loved. Alexa has won best artist of the term 3 terms in a row! She also won the junior arts competition of Los Angeles and the whole of California. Lastly the lesson I have been waiting for has come. PE! I am the best athlete at school and I have won the USAs best junior athlete! My best sport is basketball and karate. Weird combination I know. The bell rang for the end of PE and I raced to the glowing ball place and waited for Karina. I saw Alexa and Steve come in and I waved at them to come.

What do you think Karina wants? asked Steve.

    I don’t know. I answered.

    We waited and waited
