    pringtime is one of my most favorite times or seasons of the year. It is a time of rebirth with birds flying back, and forth gathering food to bring back to the little baby birds they have tucked away in their nests.

    The flowers are all beautifully decorated in their spring bonnets, and greenish brown sandals that God himself must have personally picked out for them to wear for a short while.

    As spring rolls quickly over into summer season the colors of the flowers begin to flourish with deep rich colors. They seem to have lost the pastel bonnets in exchange for darker heavier colored ones to protect them from the harsh blistering heat of the sun. They are brilliant, and not so soft looking. The flowers are hearty in color all of the pedals have become thick with pretty orange, yellow, and red colors: some are purple with deep green looking bottoms that give the appearance of thicker looking sandals to protect them from the blazing sun rays of long hot summer days. Awe how I do love the summer almost as much as I do the springtime.

    I am nine years old. Well I will be nine the year after next year. I am really only seven, and a half.

    It is the last day of school for us here in California. I will be going to the third grade. It will be fun going to the bigger grades. Today I will pass to the big three and after that, before you know, it I will be in the sixth grade. Yippee yahooee! I’m looking forward to that because here at my elementary school, Paul Smith Elementary, they give a sixth grade luncheon along with a moving up ceremony to junior high.

    Well that is a long way off, but I can dream can’t I? My second grade teacher is about to pass out our last report cards for the school year.

    Mine will be one of the last cards passed out because my last name and
