About this ebook

In this novel, China’s attempt to complete the creation of the United Socialist States of America is thwarted by American iPhone technology.
China’s 50-year campaign needed the creation of a Social Credit System (SCS) modelled after Beijing’s complete control of all its citizens. Millions of cameras watch every move, and SCS demerits ruin people’s lives forever, complete with prison terms.
In the background, China’s Chairman realizes just how bad their economy is and devises plans to steal American wealth. They successfully steal a huge sum from retirement funds managed by Morgan Stanley to provide wages to unpaid workers.
America’s Apple iPhone is manufactured in China--500,000 a day--which the Chinese government seizes in order to keep the profits. An undeclared Cell Phone War commences.
The war ends with American technology stopping the use of 7-milion iPhones in the city of Tianjin, the world’s busiest port. The Chinese personal activities and commerce come to a halt, and they are forced to sue for peace.
President Preston uses the end of the Cell Phone War to begin programs to stop the march toward Socialism in America. A new era of cooperation begins to allow America to continue to implement Thomas Jefferson’s visions for the Republic.

    BEIJING

In the Forbidden City, the Chairman of the Communist Party, Chin Mai Xi, was enjoying a bourbon whiskey in the library when his Chief of Staff, Sun Yat Kao, knocked on the door.

    Who’s there?

My chairman, it’s me, Sun. May I have a few words with you Sir?

Of course, my friend. Please join me in a sip or two of Kentucky’s finest.

The obedient advisor and program organizer poured a tumbler and sat down opposite his boss.

    What’s on your mind, Sun?

    Well, Sir, I’ve been thinking.

Oh, that can be dangerous! (Ha-Ha!)

The Chief smiled, took a sip and said, Well, sir, our 50-year campaign to turn America into one of our territories without firing a shot has really worked well.

    Yes, I agree. So…?

So, I believe the time is right to take the last step to gain complete control of the country.

My good friend, you certainly have my attention. Please proceed.

Well, sir, our best guess is that the new American legislative bill of the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) will become law within a year. As you know, we’ve been lobbying legislators for over 5-years to make it happen.

Yes, I’m well aware of all the efforts.

Well, sir, when it finally happens, the federal government will have control of every dollar spent by every citizen. The government in Washington could easily drain and close personal bank accounts in seconds. A person or even a corporation would be helpless.

Chief, we’re looking forward to that day. Indeed, we would be able to control the Federal Reserve and national banking system. Why, even the stock exchange would not be able to operate if we controlled the money supply. What a beautiful thought!

Yes, my chairman, you’re right. We would be in almost total control of the country.

    What do you mean, almost?

"Well, as I see it, there
