Sandra Cavazos Ayala is a mother, grandmother, life-long educator, and advocate of early literacy and bilingual- bicultural education. My deepest desire is to write for young readers and parents to encourage positive adult-child interaction. My hope is to help children realize that by showing love, affection, and appreciation towards their mother, (father or caregiver) daily routines can be pleasant and rewarding. With this bilingual-bicultural book, How Isabella Loves her Mommy! ¡Así es como Isabella ama a su mamá!, my wish is to bring awareness to as many parents/caregivers and children about how love and kindness can make a significant difference in their lives.
