    Friedrich List - Fouad Sabry

    Chapter 1: Friedrich List

German-American economist and political theorist Georg Friedrich List (6 August 1789 – 30 November 1846) created the nationalist theory of political economics in both Europe and the United States.

List was born in the free imperial city of Reutlingen in the Duchy of Württemberg on August 6, 1789.

At the age of 23, List was promoted to a post at Tübingen.

As a deputy to the Württemberg chamber, He advocated administrative changes actively.

He was removed from the chamber and condemned to ten months of imprisonment with hard work in the fortress of Asperg in April 1822.

He ran away to Alsace, After traveling France and England, he completed his term in 1824, He was freed with the promise to relocate to the United
