In the last few recent years the world has become a seemingly volatile political landscape. Countries small and large have become inextricably linked by way of numerous economic and political factors. At this meeting they were to leave the trappings and responsibilities they had as statesmen and simply discuss issues as interested parties. No policies or declarations were to be set at this meeting but it cannot be said whether the discussions had at this hotel have shaped international policy and     alliances. This by invitation-only group has met every year since then, a shifting list of attendees that includes captains of industry, political strategists, and leaders in technology. No press are allowed inside, no detailed hours of the meetings are kept, and only broad lists of topics to be discussed are put out to the public.
