    Chapter 1

    Where is the princess?

She is resting in her room, one of the guards answered.

Is anyone with her? An approaching knight continued asking her questions. Her footsteps could be heard pretty loudly in the hall where she was. There were just the two guards protecting the room leading to the princess’ room.

Um… No, ma’am! The other guard quickly replied to her.

How long has she been inside  by herself?

Ah. How long would you say it has been? One of the two guards asked the other, consulting his colleague.

I’d say half an hour, at most, he gave his answer.

And neither  of you thought about going in there and checking on her? The advancing, stern and cold knight was clearly making them sweat a lot under their armor. This knight was a beautiful woman with granite gray eyes and short jet-black hair. Even though her hair was pretty short, or rather gave the impression of being short, she was actually hiding a surprisingly long ponytail on the inside of the back of the armor. Speaking of which, her armor was incredibly heavy, being covered in thick protective plates. The plates themselves were originally of a dull gray color that was burnished into deep black tones, meaning that the armor used to be a lot paler before and didn’t exactly last for too long. Her armor turned darker and darker with time as she became a stronger knight. This lady knight appreciated her armor and her weapons a lot, taking great pride in the fact that she was evolving among the ranks of the society of storm knights. Concerning her weapons, she wore a long sword in her back and two short daggers on both sides of her hips.

Um… We didn’t hear anything. She’s fine, one guard said.

She’s okay. No need to worry, knight, the other mentioned.

No. She’s not. Open the door, she commanded them.

... An awkward moment of silence froze everything.

What are you two waiting for? Open the door. Open it.

We are sorry, but we can’t do that, one guard told her.

Well, why can’t you do what I am asking you to?

We received different orders from the other storm knights. We need to consult with them first before listening to you.

This has to be a joke! Really? They are working against me now? She waited as she stared at them. They didn’t say a word. They were dead serious. Alright. So, I need to get out and come back later with a written approval from the other storm knights before being able to enter the princess’ room when I believe she is in danger, huh?

That’s right. We received specific orders from the knights.

Clear orders from the other knights, the other guard blurted, agreeing with his partner.

"I see… Then, if this is how it’s going to go. Just let me leave. I have a strong feeling the princess—our princess is in danger right now, but you know what? I am going to turn around. Leave. Spend a couple of hours obtaining that official, written approval, and then, I am going to come back here with everything I need to be able to protect the princess when this is supposed to be your job right now," the lady knight explained to them what she was going to do at the same time she turned her heels. She then, slowly, began walking away from the door and the two guards. She was leaving for real.

Alright! See you later! One of the two guards shouted.

Well, that was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be.

A lot easier than we both thought it was going to be…

Then, the pair of guards went back to work, which meant in their case, doing absolutely nothing and waiting for time to pass… One and a half minutes passed following her departure…

Much, much easier than I thought it was going to be to get rid of her… One of the guards repeated. Visibly glad, she was gone.

You said it, brother! You said it! The other guard replied. Clip-clop! Clip-clop! Clip-clop! Clip-clop! Clip-clop! Clip-clop! Clip-clop!

Do you hear that? One of the guards asked his buddy.

Yeah. What is that? It sounds like it’s coming from the other room or something. It’s coming closer and closer too…

Clip-clop! Clip-clop! Clip-clop! Clip-clop! Clip-clop! Clip-clop! It was coming much closer. The continuous sound they were hearing sounded like it was getting closer and closer toward them at a fast pace. They didn’t know what to make of it, really.

It sounds like someone running or something like that… I don’t know. What do you think it is? Should we leave our post or something? I mean, it’s not like we are doing much right now, anyway, huh? This one guard didn’t want to do much more…

What are you even saying? Someone running? It doesn’t sound like someone running at all. Someone running in the castle? It can’t be. Why would a God-damned person run in the castle at this time of the night? It doesn’t make any sense, brother, he called him out on it, yet, it definitely sounded like something was approaching them…

Hey, look at that… The other guard pointed out to his colleague—all of a sudden—a horse came dashing toward them. Galloping in their direction. Riding the horse, the same lady storm knight they recently spoke to was staring at them as she unexpectedly came back without any written approval.

The storm knight! She’s back! One shouted.

What the… This wasn’t supposed to happen.

I’d move if I were you! The knight told them.

Move! One guard pushed the other at the last second. The two fell over and narrowly escaped being stepped on by the brown and beige mount. The next second, the knight rushed into the door with the horse and opened it in a flash.

The knight was finally inside the princess’ bedroom.

The place was dark. Much darker than the hall where the guards were. It was hard to see, but she was able to figure out pretty quickly that the princess wasn’t in her bed. The knight made a mess of the place as her large horse harshly stomped on every object and furniture in the way.

Princess! I am Storm Knight, Ciara, and I am here to save you! My horse, Thunder, and I form a team together—we are Beastorm!

    Chapter 2

The princess’ bedroom wasn’t just a bedroom, it was an entire private apartment that the knight and her horse had completely rampaged, but for excellent reasons. The persistent storm knight was searching for the princess, who she deeply believed to be in grave danger.

Princess. Where are you? She called out for her. No response. Ciara investigated while riding her horse. She didn’t find anything in the bedroom, so she switched rooms and took a ride in the main hall, which led to a kitchen, and then to a dining room. There, she found a plate with  pieces of fruit such as grapes and peaches. There was also a fresh glass of milk right next to it. Neither appeared to have been touched at first glance, which came off as heavily suspicious to Ciara. However, once she moved closer to the table with her mount, she noticed that a couple of bites had, indeed, been taken out of some peaches. Not only that, there was something strange that had leaked onto the fruits, and the same fluid was even floating at the surface of the milk. She looked closer: It was thick, and it was slimy. This could only be one thing—it was semen—pure white sperm. She was right. This increased her worry of the princess. She kept riding her horse, Thunder, throughout the apartment and quickly found the living room. Exactly the place where she needed to be… Here, she discovered the beautiful princess. She was unconscious and was lying down on a large couch. And she wasn’t alone. At her side: There was a creature. It wasn’t human. It was a monster. It was hard to see the creature as it was cloaked. The room was dimly lit with only a couple of candles lighting the room, but Ciara was successfully able to tell that this was some kind of rat man hidden under a robe with a hood over his head. As strange as this looked and sounded, this was exactly what she was seeing.

Storm knight Ciara here! Stop whatever you are doing! She shouted at him, not exactly surprising him since the creature knew that she was coming because of the thunderous cacophony (no pun intended), her horse, Thunder, was making. However, as soon as she addressed him, the rat man locked eyes with her. Not too long after, Ciara examined the creature a little more. It was only then that she noticed that he was carrying two things in his hands. In his right hand, he possessed a glassed vial, which was filled with some type of strange mixture Ciara couldn’t really identify. In his other hand, he carried something she immediately recognized. It was a relic from the castle, which he obviously stole. An object that was being kept with the princess in her apartment at all times: The object was a small, portable harp. The harp was a beautiful emerald green color and the strings themselves were topaz yellow. This harp was known to have magical qualities, but this was merely an old legend. Nothing magical about this musical instrument had ever been proven to be real. Nevertheless, this ancient relic was extremely valuable.

State the reason why you are here, intruder! She shouted.

    This… Wasn’t… Supposed… To… Happen…

What do you mean by that? Move away from the princess.

    The… Guards… Had… Been… Paid… Off… He snarked.

Oh, really? Bunch of traitors… She thought to herself.

That is how you were able to sneak in? As she continued questioning the rat man, she moved closer in the living room with her mount, Thunder breathed louder in order to intimate the rat creature. It was only when she moved closer to him that she also made the discovery that the rat man had partially undressed the princess during his intrusion of her apartment and while she was unconscious. The bust section of her dress had been untied to reveal a huge amount of her generous cleavage. Shocking the storm knight.

What is going on? This rat is a total pervert… She thought.

What have you done? She interrogated him. It was her mission to figure out what happened here and what was going on. First: Ciara had never seen a monster in her entire life. Second: She had never witnessed anyone, sneaking into another person’s home to attempt to strip that person naked. In other words: She had never met a pervert such as this vile creature right there.

You… Are… Never… Going… To… Catch… Me… The rat monster confidently replied to the intimidating-looking knight. He hid the supposedly magical harp into his cloak and pulled a weapon out. He armed himself with a sharp dagger with a curved tip.

We’ll see about that! Storm knight Ciara, then, smirked before suddenly jumping off Thunder. She smoothly pulled her impressive long sword out of her back and swung it at the rat man as soon as she landed on top of him. The rat creature was able to block her long sword with his dagger just in time to save his life. The two remained in a standstill for a couple of seconds as their blades rubbed against one another.

    We got you.

    What?

Then, when the rat man was distracted enough by her, Thunder suddenly kicked him right in the ribs. Hurting him badly and projecting on the other side of the room where a library was. He hit his head on a bookshelf.
