About this ebook

"Are you ready to get disciplined?"

Elizabeth Moore is a hopeless romantic, a huge fan of lava cakes, and thinks that men should be the ones to ask a woman out.

Her life gets thrown upside down when HR transfers her to the neurology clinic to fill in for a medical secretary. As if that isn't bad enough, Elizabeth gets rejected after breaking her own rules and asking a man out on a date.

The atmosphere in the doctor's office couldn't be more tense when the man who rejected her turns out to be Elizabeth's new boss, Dr. Charles Edwards.

As she learns the ins and outs of her new job, Dr. Edwards seems mainly concerned about pointing out her mistakes. His suggestion to teach her the old-fashioned way sounds more than exciting but discipline isn't the only thing he's handing out.

When Dr. Edwards only has eyes for the keynote speaker of the Neurology Symposium, Elizabeth finds a way to get back at him.

Will Dr. Edwards choose a secretary over a doctor or has Elizabeth only been an office fling all along?

Cozy up and buy this 2 hour short spanking romance, filled with kinkiness now! A swoon-worthy Happily Ever After is guaranteed.

Disciplined By Her Boss - Annika Stout

    Chapter One

Elizabeth felt instantly better as soon as she was inside the supermarket. It had been an emotional day, her last day of work in Dr. Scott's family clinic. The girls had thrown a surprise party for her in the lunchroom which made her cry instantly.

She desperately needed some distraction now and a quick stop at Su-Mart was the easiest option on her way home. Her fridge was full and she didn't need anything but she loved strolling through the aisles of supermarkets. There was something calming about it.

As soon as you entered and the automatic doors closed shut behind you, it was as if time stopped. It was comfortably air-conditioned and somehow there was always a great song playing. Just like today.

The peaches looked particularly ripe and mouth-watering, so Elizabeth grabbed a bag. She carefully selected the juiciest peaches when a slapping sound distracted her. She looked up and her heart skipped a beat, as she took in the man across from her.

His hair was a nice salt and pepper medley and he wore a suit and tie. It was a bit of an unusual sight to see a man with a suit and tie at the supermarket. The thin square glasses gave him that sexy nerd look.

What is he doing? she wondered.

Another sharp slap of his hand on the watermelon startled her. He must have seen her move because he suddenly looked up.

Elizabeth turned her head away immediately, pretending she wasn't watching him. But that millisecond of their eyes meeting had been enough for her to break out in a sweat.

She quickly dropped the peaches in her basket and walked to the vegetables located behind him. From there she could secretly watch him, without him noticing. Grabbing an iceberg lettuce, just in case to have an alibi, she took her time to check him out now.

He radiated dominance. It was something in his posture. Pure confidence. He looked older than her, maybe by ten years.

He lifted one watermelon after the other and smacked it.

Let me be your watermelon, Elizabeth thought.

It was impossible to watch him slap the melons without imagining his firm hand slapping her bottom instead.

    His hands were perfect.

    Everything about him looked perfect.

He finally seemed to have found a watermelon and put it in his cart. Slowly and gently.

How could a man look so incredibly sexy, placing a watermelon in his shopping cart? she wondered.

Elizabeth turned and put the iceberg lettuce back on the shelf. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched Mr. Melon-Slapper adding more fruit to his cart but that process was apparently simpler than picking a ripe watermelon.

Keeping a safe distance she slowly followed behind him. After all, the supermarket was the perfect place to find out more about him. Checking out other people’s groceries was kind of a hobby for Elizabeth. Was he the father of a large family? A health freak? Was he celiac or a junk food type of guy who didn't know how to cook?

He certainly didn't look like a junk food guy but you never knew, some people were simply blessed with an amazing DNA and could eat whatever they wanted. Not like her, who gained weight just looking at her Nº1 comfort food, chocolate lava cakes.

I'll have to pick some up, she decided. Today she'd permit herself to indulge.

By the amount of potatoes, she really couldn't tell if he was buying for one or two people. But when Mr. Melon-Slapper picked out a single steak at the butcher counter, Elizabeth silently cheered.

He was single. She was 100% sure about it.

His grocery cart ended up being a good mix of healthy whole foods but also included chips and a taco kit. Her heart jumped a beat when he picked up her favorite Peach Noracuya Greek yogurt. It was pure bliss thanks to the 10% fat content.

    This was it.

It was a sign, wasn't it? What if they were meant to be together? Was love at first sight a thing after all? He hadn't noticed her but what if he felt the same?

She had to try. She had to give him a chance to fall in love with her.

Technically she was a fan of the old-fashioned way. The man needed to ask the woman out, not the other way around. But if she would wait for that, he would most likely leave the supermarket and she would never see him again. She’d make an exception to the rule just this one time.

Elizabeth had a smile on her face, already imagining herself explaining to their grandchildren how Grandma and Grandpa fell in love at the supermarket. She couldn't help it, she was a hopeless romantic.

He now stopped in the aisle with the nuts and dried fruits and grabbed a box of dates.

Just do it, you have nothing to lose, she told herself.

Her heart was racing as she walked up right next to him.

    You like dates? she asked.

Mr. Melon-Slapper looked straight into her eyes. Elizabeth's legs felt like jello. He had the most intense dark eyes she'd ever seen.

    But he didn't answer.

Was he as much in shock as she was? Did he just realize that they were meant to be together and that's what made him speechless?

He didn't look like someone who'd be speechless. He looked like someone in charge. Surely he was some kind of manager or director.

You're supposed to say yes, she explained, so that I can then ask you if you want a date with me.

    His stare was intense.
